Staff was very rude and unhelpful. The truck was at 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up and was told I had to put more gas than that in it when I returned it or I would be charged extra. The truck smelt like someone just finished smoking weed in the cab and the inside of the bed was covered in black stuff that got on some of my things when we moved. I will never rent from this place again!

It was a huge hassle trying to get the tow dolly from Mr. Polk. I'm not sure if it is due to the fact that he knew me or another reason. I went there originally and he refused to rent to me. I went to a different location in Elizabethtown and they had a tow dolly but it was out of service at the time. They were very friendly and helped me go online and do the application myself and reserve the tow dolly. That sent me back to Mr. Polk. I called to let him know I was on my way to pick it up. Once again he told me I couldn't rent it. I told him I already had it reserved online. I arrived at his location once again and he tried to refuse service once again until I told him I had a confirmation number and I would call U-haul if he refused to rent it. At that time he got the paperwork through and we went through the steps of getting it hooked up to my truck. There were no problems after that.

I rented 2 Dolly’s and only received 1, and I got a pack of furniture pads that I did not request, nor use. I informed the local U-Haul representative that I only got 1 dolly but still got charged for both.

The woman who took care of me was very helpful. The only problem was that is was difficult to tell exactly where to pull in and where to stop when I first got there. Now that I know, I would consider using this location again.

You would think if you rented something from a big company like Uhual and you don’t even use it and had it for Less than 2 hours that Uhual would work with you to give you at least part of your money back but no a person is just out all his money. Guess I’ll just have to find somewhere else to rent. Thank for working with a person.

The female employee was not very responsive and to the needs of the customer and not overly friendly. One and half days after snow, the auto trailer should have been cleaned free of ice making it easier to drive vehicle onto platform especially for a rear wheel drive vehicle like mine. There was also a reservation.

There was only a small paper on the window saying it was a U-Haul dealer. We pulled in because we seen the trucks and it wasn’t marked where to park. There was a whiskey bottle in the 3 parking spots they have. The lady wasn’t even there. We had to wait 35 mins for her to return even though I just made the reservation 1.5 hours prior. There office, if you can call it that looked like they didn’t even have electricity.

The sweet lady was very helpful (and so was her little helper). Would definitely rent from there again, and recommend to everyone. Would only suggest some sort of U-haul sugn out front or on side of building, wasnt sure if had right place cause trucks are in back, but come to think of it, stuff is safer when nobody knows it’s there, ying with the yang (good with the bad).

The back door on the uhaul would open maybe two inches then get stuck. You had to jerk on it to get it open and had to slam it down to get it closed. And, I signed the papers without reading it first but, this is the only company that I have ever rented a uhaul from and it not.be for twenty four hours. I got a message after I got the truck saying I had to return it in twelve hours. The price was ridiculous for twelve hours rental. The lady at the place picked the truck up at did NOT say anything about returning it in twelve hours. I automatically assumed it was twenty four. I will NEVET rent anything from uhaul again not recommend to anyone.

Pokls was very nice people to work with How ever I had a truck reserved at Ring Road self storage that I never got cause no one would answer my call or return my message it’s been 5 days now and still wait on them Never will use ring road again Should pull there rights to rent uhauls

The business is understaffed and we had to wait while they "caught up" on customer service. The lady who helped us, however, once she was ready...was thorough and helpful.

Main issue was the online check in. System would not provide a key. No answer on phone for the location number given by the online system.Called customer service with Uhaul and after being on hold, was transferred to scheduling and was on hold again. Never spoke to anyone in scheduling department. There was another customer there when I arrived that was having the same issue. He and I both on hold and eventually we were instructed that the keys were located in a flower box in front of the business. Should also be noted that there was more damage on the truck I rented than noted by the "X" sticker. (took photo's for the online check in). Also, The passenger side window was down, making the inside of the truck wet. Truck was also not clean. The check in process took over an hour, making me late for an appointment and forcing me to drive extra mileage to meet someone I was scheduled to meet to pick up some items who could not wait any longer. (this cost extra mileage and added much time to a already long day) I have been a faithful customer of Uhaul for 35 years. This simple rental of a truck makes me question the direction Uhaul is going with a paperless check inand no onsite customer service available onsite. and I will re-consider my future needs.
