The truck was clean for the most part. Windshield was filthy and had to be cleaned before I could continue down the road. The truck seemed to have a knock in the steering system as well as the check engine light came on about 50 miles into my trip and ran rough as heck. It used way to much fuel, the 20' bed wasn't even 1/2 full. I didn't have enough miles credit to get gas or get to the loading and unloading areas. The truck was way over priced and I was charged an additional 30$ for miles.. its obvious that uhaul has a well known name but their equipment is not in the best shape. I would have thought letting the service tech know about the mechanical issues he would have at least reduced the mileage overage.. not a good experience and glad I only needed it overnight.. very disappointedrobert B.

If someone confirm a location to pick up a truck in advance and three days before there is no trucks available at the two sites (not happy). Then after travel 31 miles pass the location to get a truck and then back to load the U-Haul is not ok with me.DANIEL N.

My problem is they should have been honest and upfront and stead of misleading. They contacted me at 10 email and said there may be additional charges. My reply I got in at 6 in the morning doctor's appointment at 8 it was 10 a clock when I got back and we were unloading and as soon as I got done I would return it I was thinking a couple hours. And if charge me for the time I was late that was fine or if they was going to charge me for another day that was fine too. And I would settle up with them when I got there. Reply back was that would be fine but they would be out of the office picking up a truck in Jeff City between 2 + 330. I was there at 3:30 to drop the trailer off after being up all night then hurrying to unload to try to make it by 2 and had to wait until 3:30 for them. And then was informed they were charging me for that day and additional day rental. Which was fine but I would have took my sweet time and returned it the next day if I was paying for a whole day rental. And I feel it's their neglect that they did not tell me that morning at 10 that I was paying for an additional day instead of leaving me in the dark until I got there I find that very uncourteous and unprofessional. Especially when I reference that in the morning if you are going to charge me an additional day that was fine they should have said then. Not get it here when you canMark G.
