Drove the truck 5 feet and the mileage clicked over. Need tenths of a mile on the odometer. I say this because I drove less than 9 miles and U-Haul charged me $20 for fuel. That is a racket. Both my wife and I agreed the needle had not even moved. 9 miles! I put 9 miles on your truck and it cost over $60. Not worth it. I won't be renting there again...ever.

Previous renter had hauled top soil or fertilizer in the van. The floor still had lots of dirt left on the floor. It also had a very unpleasant odor. We used it anyway since there was not another available and we had a short distance to go but the blankets that we placed on the floor to keep our items clean had to be thrown away.

Just some feedback: I dropped of the truck after hours and put the key in the flimsy mailbox. It wouldn't take much for a thief to rip the mailbox off the wall and take keys out of it...and take off with one of your trucks! The business owner might consider figuring out how to deposit the keys inside the building :-)

She responded promptly to both voicemails I left, researched a question I had and called me back as promised, handled my request efficiently, and was incredibly pleasant throughout. Have a better process for checking the vehicle in when the office is closed. I was charged for 3 days when they were closed and only had the truck for 1 day

Sales woman was rude and unconcerned regarding complaint about the truck. Showed no interest in attempting to ratify the problem. Completely lied regarding swapping for a more appropriate truck. Told me that any changes would have to. E through corporate and that they were closed (3:45). She had contacted my wife at approximately 11:45, because she was going to lunch. She did not return until after 3:20. She also had no regards of a headlight that was out, I drove from one end of the state in storming rain the the lower end of the state because of the allotted time. I would not recommend that employee be allowed to deal with your future customers!

Helpful in getting me a truck after a nearby UHaul site did not meet their contractual obligations--No one at the office, no response to phone calls. Customer Service at the 800 number was able to find me a truck at this site, but the loss of nearly two hours placed me in the midst of rush-hour traffic, caused re-scheduling difficulties and added another two hours to total job completion.

The lady who gave us the key at the storage facility in el dorado hills told us to wait outside the lobby because she was going to lock the doors while she went to do a chek up on the truck before handing the key but when she went she never lock the door, its was a really cold morning and i found that to be really rude, unprofesional and racist, she made me and my uncle feel were going to steal something while she went ouside, and when she came back 1 min later i told her why she made us wait outside? And why she never lock the doors? She didnt reapond to my question. I have rented u-haul trucks every single time in my life i have moved, and i was never asked to leave the lobby while the person went to do a check up on the truck. Why would someone do such a stupid thing of stealing when the have your divers license info and your credit card info? Thats why i felt really desrespected by this lady.

I was charged for fuel even though I had put gas into tank before I returned the truck. The office said that it had a half tank when I picked it up, but the gauge was less than that. It was close so I didn't worry about it, but then got surprised when the bill came in. I only drove the truck 21 miles, but they charged me for 4 gallons on top of the 3 that I put in. On top of that the AC didn't work, and the day was over 100 degrees. Luckily I wasn't driving very far.

Not only did I have a truck that broke down and added an additional day of moving that cost me missing one day of work and pay but to add insult to injury I was charged and additional $15.93 in gas charges even though I added $10.00 in gas prior to delivering it back to IStorage after driving less than 25 miles even though the fuel gauge matched the same level as the documents that I was given at the time I picked up the truck! This is not good business!
