I am glad you requested a review. When I called the 619-258-1645 # I did not know I was getting a corp. line as 619 is my area code. The young man who answered Chris took my information but kept saying my last name was Graves which is where I thought I was calling. Chris took my Discover Card info and assured me Patrick my son in-law would have no issues when picking up the truck. The next day Patrick went to the Graves location and Andy (very rude/mean) yelled at me that there was no reservation, once I re-gave my info to Andy he told myself and Patrick "drop the truck off by 6pm at any location in Vista, I have only charged the .89 per mile and Vista is about 50 miles" I received my invoice and I noticed it said 5pm drop off! So I called the 619 number and come to find out not only was Patrick to drop the truck off by 5pm but it was to be dropped off at the original location on Graves. WOW so Erlinda Emp#1200999 was kind enough to give us until the next morning to drop off the truck and she also put all of this information in the system for Andy to see. Ok so the total cost was less then the quote so that is good however Andy said there was no info from Erlinda in the system. So please thank Erlinda, and lets get Chris and Andy some protocol help.

While the customer service was excellent and fast the Uhaul itself was dirty and needed new windshield wipers badly. I did tell that to the worker and he said they would replace them. Very friendly though. I have used this location several times.

The truck was dirty when I rented it, and I was asked to sweep it upon return. I was overcharged for mileage. I only drove the truck 12 miles, but I was charged for 31 miles. When I said something about it, the woman just blew me off. She wouldn't even consider that they could have made a mistake. Paying $88 for a 15ft truck and a dolly is ridiculous. I rented a larger truck & dolly with insurance 2 months ago from Uhaul on Main street and paid much less. This was a bad experience. I won't be back.

Everything was fine at pick up other than the fact that I was told one price for insurance and they had a different charge. I saw this and took it off. kinda irritating because I had bad experiences with this business before at this storage facility. When I dropped the truck off and went back to sign for it the old guy in the office made me feel as if I was bothering him and the total charge was more than quoted. He was short with me and totally made me feel as if I was being ripped off. I was in my work uniform and that is formal dress attire. just imagine if I was not dressed as nice how he would have treated me. I would never go to this property again but it was closest. They also told me it was a 10' truck and it turned out to be a 14' truck. had to have one that day though. I would not recommend this place for any type of business to anyone.

The main guy who works here is so incredibly rude, it's not even funny. When I came to pick up the truck he talked down to me like I was some idiot woman who has no idea how to drive a moving truck (I'm 32 years old, I've driven plenty of them in my lifetime). He was also rude to my friend who came with me to drive my car while I drove the truck. Then, when I returned the truck he tried to charge me for a dolly that I didn't use and acted like it was a huge inconvenience because I asked him to refund a whole $10. Then, when my friend asked if we needed to be there to wait for the refund to be processed, he "shooshed" my friend very rudely. The guy wasn't even wearing shoes and looked like he lived on site. A very negative, rude and unprofessional experience at this place and I will NEVER rent there again. Terrible experience with U-Haul because of that rental place!! I would like some sort of compensation for this less than courteous experience. Thanks!

The tank said full but it took about 8 gallons of fuel to fill up. Considering I drove just a tad over 10 miles, I essentially donated an additional 20+ dollars worth of fuel. It's a little frustrating but I should have calculated the MPG vs. miles driven. The clerk in the office was very friendly and helpful when I picked up the vehicle. I used the key drop at the end of the day to return the vehicle.

we thought the price per mile would really kill us - but the total cost for the day was very reasonable. Because a family member had passed and this was an emergency and our funds were tapped out, finding a great deal and great service was a huge plus during this difficult time.

first it started off with nobody at original location. After 30 min of waiting, and 40 min on phone with customer service, I was redirected to another pickup location. This made me late for appt I had at 9 to pickup furniture. Also, the person I had to drive my car for me had to leave for work, therefore I had to leave my car parked in street, which was bad bc my bumper was stolen right off my car when i went to pick it up. I lost out on my furniture bc I was late, and then had to drive excess miles to find furniture around town. this made me late to pickip person to help me move, I ended moving myself until 2 AM! ....spoke to customer svc and they said i would be reimbursed $50. I feel this doesnt make up for this hortible expeeience.. The last point i want to make is I decided to go with Uhaul bc of the early checkin on line. It specifically advertises "save time at counter".. Well it did the complete opposite as well as messing up the rest of my schedule.. Keith Aguon 951-385-8910

The reason I would not recommend this location is because of the price inflation of the uhaul products for sale in the lobby. I went to purchase a king size mattress cover which was clearly marked by uhaul to sell for 4.95 however I was being charged 10.95 when I said something she said it doesn't matter what the price tag says they can charge whatever they want. If I had not pre reserved my uhaul I would of left and went to budget. What type of business due u run that is the kind of people you partner with.

The Representative should allow each customer to go to the truck and or trailer and inspect before having them sign papers.. After I did so I saw on the back of it was a note that the truck that a problem with the roof cap and customer was aware of possible water damage to items. Also When I started the truck it only had 1/2 a tank of gas not the 3/4 tank so I had to add an extra 25.00 to fill the truck which I should have had to. Also the total price I got online when I reserved it was just over a 1000.00 and the cost I paid was over 1200.00. Just a little frustrating. I would have changed companies because of this localation and price but I did not have the time.
