1. Trailer had damaged door. Very hard to open. Took 2 and 3 men to open it 2. Called location, I was told bring it back for another trailer. I drove half hour one way, to make exchange. When I get there, man who told me one phone to bring it in, tells me he has no other trailers. I asked why he did this. No answer. 3. I called Uhaul customer service 3 times. On 3rd try I was given a district manager who said he will look into it. He is taking side of store. AVOID all Uhaul neighborhood stores.

The manager was courteous, but my reservation was for 8:30 and the location didn’t open until 9. No one informed me of this, so I waited for half an hour.

You record your phone calls. Obviously this cost us more than $50. The emotional toll was great, because my sister and brother-in-law just lost their 34 year old son to cancer. We had a tight window loading the truck. We missed our family gathering by an hour and a half. How do you get this back? $50 doesn’t start to acknowledge the damage.

We rented for a day and were told we would get a break as the price given was for three days. The account was not noted with the price reduction and so we paid the full price. Ridiculous that the price is like that. Will not rent again from U-haul in the Seattle area.

Mileage record was wrong. Fuel record was wrong. Both picking up and checking in i had too wait while the clerks handled private calls on thei cell phones. The store stunk of incense. Overall i felt more like a nuisance rather than a customer. Next time a different store

When dropping off my rental truck, I was in a hurry to make another appointment so I didn't pay much attention to the total mileage driven. Checking when I got home revealed that the charged total of 30 miles is approximately 12 more than actually driven. I wonder if the operator of this U-haul location takes $10 extra from every customer in this way? Disappointed, as I have had very satisfactory experiences from other U-haul locations every time I have used their services.

Although we had reservations, the equipment wasn't available at the reserved time. We called and spoke to a gentleman who told us it wasn't ready so I said we'd call after the football game. An hour later a woman called me angrily demanding I either pick it up now or it will go to someone else. We hurried down to get it and she was horribly rude to us. She tried to make my husband sign the contract without allowing him to inspect the vehicle and then told us we're lucky she rented it to us. No, she's lucky we rented from her. We could've gone anywhere and next time we will.
