Dropped off only this time - know them as very special and personable people, willing to keep things 'right' with their clients - NEVER a problem there! They even have crews to help load / unload if needed... Super sweet people!
I reserved my equipment online and received a confirmation email. When my husband went to pick it up, nobody was there. He called and a woman answered, and said she didn't know about our reservation so wasn't there. She called 3 hours later when she got to the business for him to pick up the equipment. When we asked about Uhaul's $50 Reservation Guarantee, she knew nothing about it. We were charged for coverage even though I specifically chose no coverage online when I did the reservation. I have used Uhaul before and was happy with them, but I've never used this location before and never will again. And after the terrible customer service from their corporate line trying to resolve these issues, I doubt I will use Uhaul again.

Person in charge should be on time for appointments and give receipts / paperwork to renter.

The location was supposed to be open from 10am until 2pm the day I returned the truck. I had to drive 30 miles one way from where I actually moved to the location to return it. I got there at approximately 12noon. The place was completely deserted and hadn't even looked like anyone had been there in days. I verified that I was at the correct location did a self check in And took pictures to verify that I was at the correct location and the cleanliness of the vehicle. I waited for about another 30min hoping someone would show up to verify the vehicle. The entire experience from the beginning of the rental to the drop off was the worst experience I have ever had in renting a truck to move.
They were very accommodating. There was an emergency and they had to go but we're kind enough to wait for me to run down and get my trailer. Also made a special trip to check the trailer in on a day they were closed. Great people.

Service Uhaul assets so the air conditioning works. Clean Uhaul assets so they are not caked with mud and cow feces. Service Uhaul assets so the weather strips don't immediately tear off and flop around. Bring Uhaul assets back from the coasts to the Midwest where they are needed so customers don't have to go absurd distances to find a standard 10 foot box truck. IMPORTANTLY, call customers who file complaints back within the promised 48 hour time frame.
I called the lady who was taking care of the rental of my trailor and apparently she was working at home. She was having a conversation with someone as she was on the phone with me. There was nobody there to help put the trailor on and when I asked her for help she replied, " you dont have a guy with you" ? Then she found somoene to come help but when he got there the wiring wasnt right and he had to steal a piggy back from another trailor, only after me asking him to please hook it up for me and check the lights!! The trailor hitch was rusty and looked like it had been setting in the field for quite awhile. He had to lift it all the way from the ground as I backed the truck up. Not very safe!! There was a boat literally right behind the trailor so good thing I did not have to back up Pretty ridiculous service for such a well known company!!!
Uhaul support staff could help her that would be great she does wonderful by her self Uhaul kind of fucks it up

dirty trailer... i complained to rental site where i rented from and trailer lights did not work, though turn signals and flashers and brake lights worked... my son was pulling it and had to use flashers often so I could see him in the rainstorm (it also leaked and got some items wet)... i was following him in another pickup... no reflectors on the back of the left tire cover... right rear tire of the tandem axle was low... very disappointed in the service because we dropped it off in timely manner and was called by Uhaul to confirm it had been dropped off - Kim hadn't even checked us in when i called her cell to inform of the drop off... this location is never open when we need them...
The 24/7 app was AWEFUL!! Why when a person makes the reservation over the website do they not ask for driver's pic and license pic and 2 extra contact informations ???? This was requested at the pickup site and the app was NOT WORKING!! My smartphone had a clear signal, but the app would NOT take a photo so that I could pick up the truck at the scheduled time. I called customer service 6 times and was transferred each time and told to follow the instructions on the website. I even watched the video. BUT I feel that nobody except for Sandy at the Springfield, MO office would listen regarding the inability to use the photo part of the app. Of course, if I could not take the required photos, I could not pick up the truck!! I am so angry about the whole 24/7 app !! This was a very emotional move for me and was made worse by the frustration and 1 1/2 hour struggle to get the truck key.
I wish all UHaul pickup locations were like this one. Total overall experience was spectacular and the Lady is the sweetest ever.
Please consider increasing the time allowed to have the unit. A 26' truck takes a lot of time to load and unload. Moving is difficult, expesive and stressful enough without feeling like there is an impossible time line to follow. We didn't even get the truck completely packed because I was afraid we wouldn't make the return deadline.
Lots of trucks on hand. They were friendly and got me checked out fast.
the appliance dolly was not there . I had to rent elsewhere
When I picked up truck the worker took me down and brought fuel level to 1/8 tank told me that was where it needed to at return when I took it back I was told should have been at 3/4 almost got charged a fee also did not receive a paper saying what level should have been
The only downside was that when I attempted to use the check-in via the app the pickup option was still greyed out. Luckily the location owners were there so I switched it to a standard pickup, and just checked it out through them.
