I’m uncertain if they are still in the u-haul business as the gentleman I met there asked if I had the right address and said “I didn’t think we were doing this anymore” (regarding me dropping off a trailer (via the app)), and I didn’t see any u-haul equipment there other than the trailer I was dropping off, however he was pleasant and said it wasn’t a problem and directed me where to park it.

Make your check in and return methods better. Everything had to be done "online", and the process was terrible! I was sitting in my car, immediately next to the rental unit looking at it, trying to check in and the online check in was telling me according to the GPS I was not at the correct location, the EXACT address where I was sitting. Get the people involved in checking in and return like the old days! I will try my best to find other rental units in the future.
Richard W GehrThe location we picked up the equipment was adequate but no person was around to talk to. The only contact was by phone. We rented a 26 ft super mover with a car hauling trailer. Unfortunately we didn't know the loading ramps came in different sizes. For a vehicle of that size a much longer ramp should have been installed. BOTH loading and unloading we're at a sketchy 45 degree angle. Seriously!?
Knous RobI had originally booked a 24/7 pick up and when my pick up location was changed, it seems that changed but was not made known to me. I waited over an hour to get the keys to the truck and finally, when I spoke to the location owner, I was asked to text my photo ID and a picture of my credit card. We had already provided payment info and sent the photo ID info Over the night before (as part of that 24/7 pick up we scheduled), so I was not going to provide that info via text to a stranger. I called the local UHaul hub and they were able to confirm that I did not need to send that to them. As for vehicle condition, we picked up the truck with just under a quarter tank of gas which would have been fine if we were in a more metro area. This location was in the middle of nowhere and we had to run with the gas light on to the nearest gas station that was 15 miles from us. We weren’t going to run out before we got to the station but it was a huge inconvenience when we were already an hour late and our movers were waiting for us to arrive with the truck. As for the interior, it was pretty gross. There were spills on the dash and dirty handprints all over the interior. If everything else had gone as planned, I probably would have been able to brush this off but it ended up just being the cherry on top of our horrible-experience-sundae.
