Instructions on returning the truck was not made clear. My drop-off location was removed somehow causing me to have to drive the truck back from Charlotte to Durham which ended up being a more expensive trip than expected.

The owner was frustrated by some system lag while checking me out. He let me take the truck without finishing the checkout process, which I greatly appreciated. We took care of the checkout and payment at a later time. I think that is great customer service!

This location had the slowest service (even as I was the only customer in there) that I had ever experienced. There was no urgency what so ever of the man helping me. Even once I got the keys he wouldn't so much as show me which truck was mine, instead he pointed at a number on the keychain. I asked about adding miles for the truck I was using since I had to drive to Charlotte from Durham and would have easily used my 171 mile limit because I would need to make other trips once in Charlotte. His response was that he could do nothing about it and to call the other location. Once I called the other location they also apparently could do nothing about it. Upon drop off I was made aware that I could've called a 1-800 number to help but no one bothered to tell me that as I tried to preemptively account for the miles and minimize the additional costs. The man at the pickup never bothered to complete any inspection of the truck to document any preexisting damages (which I have done every time I have used uhaul). The truck I received was dirty on the inside, covered with snow on the windshield and had blanckets in the back that I hadn't ordered and was required to fold at my drop off location or else take another cost for folding services. I would never ever ever recommend this location. In fact I would recommend the closing of said location.

I returned the truck that cost 39.99 per day. Why was I charged over 100.00. The office was just dirty, smelled like someone was smoking marijuana alongside incense. I felt like turning around to run the hell out of that place.

This location was a bit harder to find and did not have a large sign indicating that it had any association with U-Haul. The only way I was able to find it was by looking for UHaul trucks in the parking lot of the shopping center and assuming that the shop must be close by. The staff here was courteous and efficient.

The place we rented from was very gross. There was alcohol out I plain sight, inappropriate signs, and it was very dirty and smelled awful. Not to mention the employees were very rude. You can improve by getting rid of this rental location.

Very helpful staff given my unfortunate situation. I was supposed to drop off at a different location but they took the truck and helped me correct an incorrect contract.

The key was not where it was supposed to be left. I called the emergency number, who was very helpful and contacted the employee at Bull City Auto who was responsible for getting the key to me. It took about 45 minutes of me sitting alone in a junk yard parking lot in 102F degree heat, 2 homeless people harassed me for money, before the "key guy" showed up, who was a total jerk. Then the truck was not set in the proper mode and quit on me right after leaving the parking lot. Also, I paid for an appliance dolly, that I never received. Unless you want to get harassed and treated like trash, NEVER give your business to this location. It was a total nightmare.

I was very unhappy with treatment I received when I turned the truck in. The people at Bull City Auto where rude and very disrespectful! It took over 24 hours for them to send me a receipt and check the truck in. I called many times and they even hung up on my wife ! I will never rent or return there again!
