Fire Kristina and hire someone more competent and knowledgeable at the desk job. Kristina, nor anyone else at U-Haul, told me in advance that the moving blankets were not available. Only until I got to the store was I notified they did not have any. Then Kristina asks if I wanted the insurance to which I replied no. She then proceeds to charge me for it and told me in order for her to fix it she would have to redo everything she charged me for minus the insurance which would double the charges on my card. She tells me that when I get to my destination to tell them to remove the insurance their when returning the U-HAUL. I do so and the lady at the destination location in Orlando said the location I rented from would have to do it or to call the 1-800 number. So I called the 1-800 number who told us we would have to talk to the general manager of the store we originally rented from. We called that store and spoke with Kristina again who gave us the "general managers" number. Once we called the number provided it turns out that she gave us the tracking destination or something along those lines. We then had to explain again what happened to those people. The tracking people said that credit card processing department would call us back and not to our surprise I have not been called back yet. Bottom line my overall experience was the worst I have ever experienced. We literally did exactly what we were told to do and can't find anyone who knows their jobs well enough to get us to the right people.

The employees were very rude. The woman counting down her drawer went to get another employee to return my uhaul. She went to him three times. On the third time, she cussed at him saying that if he wanted to spend an hour on company time getting a “damn” drink that she would deduct that hour off “fucking” his pay. He yelled back saying he could do whatever the hell he wanted to. She left while I was still waiting. Finally he came in and said she could’ve just emailed me the receipt. He checked out the uhaul and I asked if there was anything else that I needed to do or sign before I left. He said i could hangout if I wanted a receipt. I got my receipt and said thank you. He completely ignored me.

My move due to Hurricane Michael wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Eddie. He went above and beyond to accommodate and assist me with the trailer rental and storage. Keep up the great work. 10/10!

So very disappointed with this company and will never use them again, although we've used their services every single time we make a move! We were charged for TWO days of service even though we used the uhaul for ONE day. We were also charged twice for protective blankets, however we did NOT rent those out nor were there any on the truck! Our total for an IN-TOWN move was $254! In addition to that our initial charge that was held was never released to us! It has been pending since 9-23-2018! We will never use your services again. Awful experience.

1) Poorly staffed. During busy morning hours on the weekend, you would expect more than one associate to be able to assist customers. Very frustrating having to wait 1 hr on a reservation. Hire additional staff during periods of increased demand. 2) My reservation was rented out to another person. Because of this, I had to rent ANOTHER trailer on ANOTHER day (because the 5x8 I was given was not large enough to accommodate all my belongings. What should have been $30 and 12 hours to move took $65 and 24 hrs ( 2 days to move). This does not include gas and time. 3) I am disappointed with the overall service experience. This was no fault of any specific employee; however, I am surprised I was not offered a discount (less a full refund) for renting out MY reservation when it wasn't my error to begin with.

We were on our way to FL pulling a trailer when the axle broke. We had to get a "special" tow for the trailer to the closest RV repair shop 20 miles outside of Dothan. We needed a trailer to go the rest of the way to FL, so we called U-Haul. The lady at their call center told us what was available, gave us directions to their nearest location & we booked it with her there on the highway. Once at Dothan U-Haul, they already had our information & the man at the counter was kind & helpful. It could not have worked out better (other than not breaking an axle). Thanks U-Haul.

Had a reserved uhaul Wednesday went there to pick it up and it wasnt there gave him my number to call me once it arrived never called me now I gotta pay 50$ extra in rent bc of that. reserved one Friday everything went fine until they told me there was 3/4 of tank only half a tank when I got in took a picture of the tank and mileage but still filled it up to 3/4 horrible customer service.

Need more people work my reservation was for 10 and I didn’t get a truck until 11 because of the wait and got charged another $100 because I went over two hours and customer service was awful! I will not be doing business with U-Haul again

I turned in the trailer after hours. The location was well lit and easy to find. There was a small issue with the turn in but the dealer made the correction professionally and quickly. Highly recommend this location.

The black guy that works up front is awesome. The last several months we have had to rent a U-Haul several times and each time dealt with the Montgomery Hwy store in Dothan. Every one that works there is good but he goes out of his way each and every time to make sure we have each and everything we need for the move.

It's not the location really except the key didn't work right and worked less the longer I had it to the point I wouldn't cut it off. The biggest problem is I make reservations at a spot 3 miles from me and get a call for me to go more than double the miles to go pick it up. No sweat for uhaul because I get to pay the mileage at .99 a mile for MY INCONVENIENCE! I think I should have had to the extra miles deducted or the truck transferred to the location I needed it at. It's a seriously weird concept of customer service ...instead of really serving the customer let's inconvenience them and tell them that's the way it is or you can cancel the reservation

I was a little confused by the online registration process. I completed all the forms and thought all I needed to do was drop by and pick up the trailer. However, I was told to go inside and stand in line with 4-5 other customers who had not pre-filed and pre-paid for the equipment. Not much of a big deal but a little confused by the process to pre-file and pre-pay. Drop off and delivery was smooth and quick. Great service personnel on both the outside and inside. I will continue to use this location for my U-Haul needs.

Only one employee behind register. Two others wandering around. Lots of equipment and supplies. Waited a hour with equipment already reserved. With the given circumstances when I was helped he did a great job was very friendly and helpful.
