They need to let people know the rental place is at a realtor company and it is located in the mall. If the hours are a certain time then they need to tell them that too. This experience was unlike any other times I have rented from uhaul. Will I continue to rent? Yes, cause every experience is not the same this was just a bad luck of the draw and I think it is also imperative the customer service people be more uptodate on where each location as far as the distance. I picked up the uhaul in dodge city not realizing that it was over an hour away from Garden City which is where I needed to pick up from but no truck was available. They also were to cover the mileage from dodge city to garden city and that was not done either. Customer service told me that when I originally requested the rental. So, I wasn't happy.

We were very unhappy because the truck was NOT in Liberal as agreed. We had to drive an additional 70 to Dodge City to pick up the truck. This caused additional time and mileage. AND, we were not told of this change until the day before pick up date.

Did not like the extra utility dolly & bag of furniture pads that were 'locked' in the cargo area. It took away usable space.

The lady I dealt with was absolutely AMAZING!!! Uhaul's website SUCKS and really messed up my reservation. Luckily, she was a professional and got everything figured out and made my move easy!!!

I'm not sure if it was a usual thing or not, but we reserved our pickup for 2 and were called that day and told the location would be closed from 1-3. We got it figured out regardless, and the staff was very helpful, but that wasn't a good thing to hear when moving with a time-crunch.

Setting up my reservation online was easy and quick. It showed what items were available at the location I wanted. Then received a call informing me that what I wanted was not available. We were able to work everything out but upon picking up the Uhaul I had been called twice in regards to when I was picking up but I was still getting my reservation figured out with customer service. The lights to the uhaul were not working, he informed me that it was my truck that was at fault then informed me that I was going to have to drive it at my own risk. Once on the road I made sure to drive 55mph but the trailer continually pulled my truck side to side and jerked and pulled my truck when stopping. I felt very unsafe during this drive and did not want to chance my safety pulling this trailer back especially without it being weighed down. So I dropped it off at the nearest Uhaul location and informed them of my situation. Now I am being billed triple of my original amount so hopefully uhaul and I can work this out. I only use Uhaul and this has been the only incident I am displeased with.

The overall experience was really great the people on both end were wonderful. Everything was made easy. My only problem/regret was I didn't take there advice and get the bigger one. As my wife would say I was being cheap again. But that was my fault. Johnny

Probably no fault of the U-Haul business but the parking area is ridiculously bad. Whoever owns that mall parking lot should repair it for their tenants and the customers!

Drop off office is in basement of mall. No information on where to leave truck. Office staff was busy with insurance issue and seemed too bothered to be of any real assistance. No receipt available. Thankfully one was emailed.
