CSR did not take the time to walk me to the vehicle and check for existing damage nor verify mileage and gas prior to my leaving. I walked myself to the truck, had to find it myself. I completed my own walk around to check for damage and verified the gas and mileage were correct prior to leaving.

Computer system that works. Had issues completing rental due to the lack of proper office equipment. Left without the receiving proper paper work/receipt. I would not recommend them.

When finalizing rental reservation over the phone worker should indicate where vehicle should be picked up. I called a specific location and assumed that was where to go for vehicle which was incorrect. I was stranded a while before someone could pick me up and bring me across town to pick the truck I reserved. When I reached my destination I was greeted with wet cloth furniture in the back of the truck from the roof leaking. I was not happy to say the least.

The 26 ft truck (older model, had well over 100K miles) that I drove had such a tight suspension that I was getting jolted pretty seriously on bumpy roads. Seems I could feel every bump in the road, so I know cargo was getting jolted around as well. It was well packed to start but still managed to shift considerably over the 1200 mile trip. I've driven bigger trucks that were smoother than these Uhauls. Attendant at truck pick up point was helpful, but seemed to be limited in her knowledge of equipment. Attendant at tow dolly pick up location added insurance to my contract without my knowledge ($50 on a $103 contract?). Failed to give me a proper receipt (the one he gave me was for the truck), and I was too focused on getting the dolly hooked up to the truck I didn't notice the "add-on" until I got home, and by then they were closed. Took two weeks to get the refund. Overall (but more for the rough ride) it's unlikely I will rent a large truck from Uhaul when it's time to move again in a year.

Very happy with the employee who assisted us today. She was willing to try and help as there was a problem with my reservation. The first place I went to, A & J Mini Mart was not willing to help so I had to leave and find another location. Kudos to Nicks for saving the day..

I was asked if I brought anyone to help hook up trailer. Associate was not physically able to help and the trailer was parked down hill making it difficult to back up vehicle and get out and lift it up to attach to vehicle. Took 30 minutes to finally get it hooked up.

I rented a trailer . THE S hooks were unusable had to use two padlocks I had to hook the chains up. They had no one to help me left the trailer up to put it on the ball. Had to go to the Landry mat next door and ask someone who was doing there laundry if they could give me a hand. Also I only needed the trailer for about three hours but I had to rent it for two days. I was done with it in two and half hours returned it to gulf shores location 17 hours after I rented it. I would of returned it as soon as I was done with it but no one was at the location. ALSO it would be nice if they offered a military discount. Which was part of the reason I had to rent a trailer to began with. Due to some medical issues from being in the military.

they added insurance to my bill and i didn't ask for it. as well as i asked for a dolly, was charged for it, and never got one. not the best experience i have had.
