The pick-up experience was good, but the return was awful! The 2 staff members were yelling and swearing at each other. It took 30 minutes to get checked back in because they weren't working together.

We hooked up the equipment ourselves, then had them check it We noted It was wrong (told us it was right) when we watched the videos We manually lifted a large trailer—we had no assistance AND we were not aware there is a device that can assist and ease your back on moving the trailer to your car hitch. To improve: help your customers, hook up the equipment, have management train and be available to staff and customers.

The truck I rented was old and terribly rough riding truck with a yellow warning light on the dash that was no longer visible. Although I was in a pinch and needed a truck for a few hours to move some furniture around town, the rate seemed reasonable until you added in the mileage and refilling the gas. A three hour rental that started at 19.95- quickly turned into $150.00 for 100 miles of driving... yikes

The worker had issues with the computer system and printer, but she managed well. However, fixing/updating the equipment might be a good idea.

They attempted to overcharge me for items that were already in the truck and if I had not reviewed the bill from the previous estimate I would have been charged for the items not used. Previous experiences here were enjoyable, but this last time I was very disappointed in the unhappy environment in which I was greeted. It may have had something to do with the first of the month experience and no other options were offered when nothing was available on my first visit. I feel they should have said we can check with other locations to see if they have had cancellations or something to that effect but they were not, I had to ask and they acted as if I was a burden. I understand I walked in without a reservation, but I feel as if either with or without a reserved vehicle that customer service could have been improved upon. And in relation to my beginning statement I believe that the representative should have realized that I had not requested pads or regular dolly, even though they were in the truck. I am glad that I took the time to check my final statement before the leaving the store.

Everything was great until it rain. The metal transport bridge is so slippery, I had a few people fall. Maybe you can offer or put something none skid on it. Other than that great experience

I was told I would receive a $50 credit because I didnt get the truck size I originally rented. Also was charged extra mileage I used because I didnt get the bigger truck. It took 2 trips to get everything. Horrible experience and I was lied to.

Returning the van using my phone didn't work. There was an issue with the website. Called customer service and they were able to handle. Also, I was not informed and didn't see on the website that if the van was not picked up by 8, the reservation would be cancelled. Luckily, a van was still available or would have been a disaster.

No one was at the 63rd street location when I went there even though they were suppose to be open. I ended up having to pay more than my original reservation for a smaller truck. Never using U-HAUL again.

When they tell you what they need, be sure to tell them if that is not what they rented. So it means adjusting the paperwork. Big deal. I paid $74 plus another $6 in gas for a truck I could not even use. Haven't been that angry in years.

The only problem I experienced was trying to return truck after hours. I'm not very technical. They wanted me to log in to uhaul.com which I did, then punch in return truck, which I did but could not get into that page. I took photo of gas and mileage like the instructions said. Tried to email for assistance, which I received an hour after returning home. I drove back 7am next morning to apologize and make sure everything was okay. Not sure what my issues we're.
