It was very frustrating. We rented a 10 foot truck online, they called us a day before to say they needed to change it to a van or a 15 ft. When I called back they took a message. Never got a call back so I called again. I repeated what the message said about them needing to change our truck, I said we would need the 15. They said ok. I checked in early online, put all the drivers license info in, as they said it would save time. The online account said 15ft truck with the 10ft price. Perfect. When we arrived, the gal at the front had no idea what we were taking about. She began to charge us for the 15ft. We explained the situation. She acted so confused. I don't understand how a company with online capabilities wouldn't have all of the information within the account, so you don't have to re-explain yourself to every single person. We finally ended up with the correct price. But the process was definitely frustrating. I was baffled at their lack of communication.

They did not complete my drop off of the auto transport with the Uhaul and so I got emails and phone calls saying I had not returned it and was liable for the property.

I can't remember the gentleman's name, but the guy who checked me out in the morning and back in the evening was by far the bests moving/uhaul experience I've ever had. Nice guy, quick and to the point so I could get on with my day.

Left side mirror was broken in such a way that it kept drifting and aiming down at the road. Had to keep reaching out the window and manually pushing it up to be able to see traffic behind me. That said, the process of renting and returning was easy and efficient, and I appreciate that.

The clerk in the front was so rude about us doing a walk in to rent a car dolly. After it was used it was brought back and he didn't even let me tell him that i was returning it. Over all I will say I had a bad experience.

Only problem I had was I was locked out of the part where you make a sign in and I accidentally put in the wrong email address so I could never rectify it and had to call customer service to make sure I was all good and make changes. Those calls each took me 15 minute on hold.

More Employees - when i walked in, there was no one in the office - maybe just have an office staff. the man that helped me was SO nice, but he was clearly working on the vehicles to make sure they were good and not supposed to be on the computer really.

My Uhaul broke down today, it was charging the battery when I got to the store what tells me that had a previous battery issues. It broke down twice losing over 2 ours of my time. I ask the rep at 2645 W Alameda Ave location about filling a claim or getting reimburse and he told me to come back tomorrow and talk to his boss, extremely impolite and rude gentleman, specially for a customer service position he handles. I was really surprise with the response, I am complaining about losing 2 hours because a defective truck and the solution I was given is to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager?:(

The cab noise was HORRENDOUS! There should some was to reduce the cabin noise--way over acceptable limits. I think OSHA would not allow any of its people to ride in this noise box.

The Alameda Location: I rented a trailer at this location. I have no complaint on this location. Juan stayed late to help me. My huge complaint is with the Santa Fe Street location. I dropped off my car to have a hitch installed, was told I was third in line. I tried to call a few times during the day but could never get through. Finally, in desperation, took a cab back to the Santa Fe Street location only to discover they had LOST MY CAR. Yes, let me say that one more time: they LOST MY CAR. Now, it was past time to pick up the trailer at the Alameda location, and the Santa Fe location complained and were very rude about having to stay late to put my hitch on -- hello - they lost my car to begin with! You know, things happen. I would not have complained if they had just said - even one time: Oh we are so sorry, we will get right on that! Instead they denied we ever brought the car to that location to begin with, then denied having told us we were third in line and they would get to it that day. All I needed was an apology. It never came - even when I finally picked up my car at 9:30 that night. They were just angry they had to stay late and "didn't get overtime pay". The Santa Fe Street location gets bottom score ratings from me.
