The fact that when I arrived at the location I was supposed to pick up my truck there was no truck assigned to me was bad enough. The fact that I didn't reach anyone from the help center for 30 minutes and the issue wasn't resolved until 5:00p, a full hour after I had my appointment was unacceptable. One of the gals even had the nerve to tell me I had to drive 30 minutes to another location, all while sitting looking at three trucks at my desired location, made it seem as though no one had respect for my time or the stress it put on me. I hired movers through U-Haul to arrive 15 minutes after my appointment so not only did U-Haul waste my time, they wasted an entire hour of my movers time. Luckily, they didn't charge me overtime and in fact, mentioned this kind of thing is not unusual. I will never rent from U-Haul again and have already made sure I've shared this negative experience with friends, family and colleagues.

I was suppose to pick up after hours when I got there your web site would not except anything so i couldn't get the truck i had to reschedule on line go back and pick it up the next day. The gentleman who checked me in was polite and helpful. when I dropped it off the clerk wasn't so much finally he just looked at me and said ill email you a receipt so i had to leave without knowing my final cost. he

Picking up the uhaul was ridiculous!!! I show up with a damaged phone (that happened on the way to get the uhaul) unable to get my info and give this guy my ID and he says he has no reservation whatsoever so I call the uhaul 800 number and am on hold for a half hour and then was hung up on so I call another location and what do you know she not only picked up right away but was able to find my reservation right away as well! I begged her to let me come get one from her cause I’ve had it with this idiot already and she was unable to switch it but got me the info this idiot needed. So I go back in with my reservation number and he asks for my ID again and says ‘oh yeah, here it is’ UGGGHHHH!!! IDIOT!!!!! I scheduled it for a 9am pick up and somehow it was changed to a 2pm pick up time when my confirmation says 9am?? WTF??? This was by far THE WORST uhaul pick up experience I’ve ever had and I’ve rented tons of uhauls!! NEVER AGAIN will I deal with guy and you shouldn’t either!!!!!!

Equipment worked well but was not clean upon pick-up. Located within a convenience store makes for long waits at pick-up and drop-off. At drop-off, I waited for 30 minutes while clerk was talking on the phone on personal matters.

This was one of the worst uhaul experiences of my life. Made me wait while he finished smoking. Had none of the equipment I asked for and the truck was filthy both inside and out. So dirty I had to wash the windows myself just to see out of them. All of this took so much time away from my move we were late getting out. I will be contacting you about a refund here shortly. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

The vehicle was unlocked when I arrived. There was a prescription container under the passenger seat. Otherwise the pick-up went well.

I rented a van. Was told the tank was full. Drove it a total of 7 miles, and it took 2.63 gallons of gas, to fill it up. When i complained about this, the attendant daid i would get a credit, which, by looking at my final bill, i did not. That's fraud. Why a large company like Uhaul feels the need to rip off the consumer is beyond me.

the receipt I received was incorrect in terms of mileage. I sent 2 emails with this concern and I have yet to receive a response. The location was extremely slow when I went to pick up the truck.

You guys are trying to over charge me card for an extra four days. You wont return my emails or phone calls. I will not pay for those extra days, we picked it up and dropped it off on the same day. Filled out all of the online questions to speed up contract per the online instructions. Took almost 30 minutes because the clerk behind the counter did not know what he was doing and he had to service people buying cigarettes and gas. I dropped off the van at 6pm the same evening after putting more gas in than I used. I just got my bill for two days of rental plus two gallons of gas. You guys need to do a better job than this. They can verify my claim by looking at their security footage. I put 9 miles total on the van and used it for 10 hours. The van was clean"ish". Please respond. Thanks.

Didnt have furniture pads as ordered which was annoying because we really needed them. Although he refunded us the cost we still had to run home to pick up tarps. It should be known online when we order equipment if it's available or not. Other than that the service was fine and the location convenient to us.
