The truck that we rented was unacceptable. If your going to charge 99 cents a mile please make the truck at least worth it. The truck we rented was SEVERELY BEAT UP! There were over 35 X's of previous damage. On top of that, the truck at 30+plus miles an hour was like driving over speed bumps consistently. Oh, and on a 90 degree plus hot summer day when I'm moving, please make sure the A/C works.

- scheduling by calling in was extremely inefficient, the guy had very little info about where a truck was available/when, and he took my info multiple times over the course of the call - it took 30 mins at the pickup location to sort out which truck we were going to take - one young man was very professional and apologized for the wait, but overall the rest of the staff wasn’t eager to sort out the issue

The procedure to pick up the truck was a bit disorganized. The information didn't match my internet order. And then you're sent across the street to get your truck and have to search among the trucks for an employee. Maybe they need more help?

The front desk was woefully understaffed and the whole process, end to end took way too long, even after I logged in and preprovided my personal information. The wait staff was courteous. The trailer was in good mechanical condition however I needed to spray WD40 on the trailer but that snugs the hitch to my ball. One other experience when I called to confirm my pickup. The person who answered the phone was in such a hurry to get off the phone. He would not risk answering any questions. I suspect it is due to staffing per my earlier comment.

Was told I could not drop off at this location when I had it in my reservation all along - added stress as I had a plane to catch! It would be nice to get the reservation drop off that I requested and for the people at the drop off to be expecting me and not telling me I can't drop off because they are too full!

Have the person that hooks up the trailer make sure he locks the trailer on the ball. He did not due this. When the trailer came off my truck it almost caused an accident. Not so much as a sorry from this location.

I had to wait 30 minutes in line to get my key. When I elected fast check out and mobile use. Then I had to wait to get out of the parking lot because a employee parked it in front of the exit. He didn’t move it until someone else needed out then moved it back blocking the exit. He then asked why I was waiting and I told him you blocked the exit. This is very frustrating.

Have a manager take responsibility for checking guests completely in. The storage unit i was assigned was locked when I finally got to the unit. It added to the already horrible experience I had with customer service at uhaul.

The gentleman who assisted with hooking the trailer onto the car was very nice but the location was short staffed and there was a backup with all the customers lining up to grab their equipment for the day rentals took a little longer than usual causing some of ya to run behind for the movers we had hired for the day too. I didn’t have a bad experience, ive just had better experiences with other uhaul locations that had ample staff on hand to make the process smoother.

Going to an actual U-Haul center was much better than previous experiences going to a gas station or similar establishment. We had some issues with billing as we were billed for an estimated anticipated mileage instead of our actual mileage used. This was ultimately resolved, but it was apparent that the in-store staff/management wasn't willing to explain or adjust on-site, so we had to resolve in other ways. All in all though, a positive experience, and we'll use this location again if needed.

You Canceled our bigger truck last minute on us, only offering two smaller trucks, meaning twice the gas and requiring two drivers. We were also supposed to have a dolly and moving blankets, none of which we received. They also charged us incorrectly. The only postitive experience was dropping off the trucks. Picking them up was a nightmare and we had to stand in line for 45 mins and we were only the 4th person in line. We will avoid using uhual at all costs in the future.

I came a half hour early and did not receive my vehicle until 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time (50 minutes total). There were only two people working, despite a line of 15. The agent mentioned that Saturday mornings are busy, but if that is the case why not have another staff member there, so tell people to arrive earlier? I would have come over an hour early if I had known. Also, one agent spent most of her time with one customer who did not have a reservation, which was very frustrating for those of us waiting in line. Also, I checked in online as advised and I'm not sure it made much of a difference.

When I got to Colorado I tried to change locations and was told I could by 2 different people then I was transferred to 6 different people and had to call different numbers and sit on hold forever. I wanted to unload at 10am to get everything done but the location then said they didnt have my reservation even though I had a confirmation. Finally they figured it out and found it so I could start unloading by 330 pm. Took 5 hours of phone calls and I lost my help to unload the truck because it took too long . Way too much work for all the money I just spent. I don't normally ask for anything but feel a refund of some sort is in order. This was so annoying after traveling across the country only to be welcomed to that mess.
