I was really surprise how smooth my transaction went. I placed my order online, checked out on line showed up in the morning and they had everything ready. I was probably in there no more then 5 minutes. The guy ( I wish I could remember his name, he deserves to be mentioned) was very nice, I had to stop him during his speech to explain one item and he happily stop and explained it until I understood. Great Customer Service and So Fast! I highly recommend them.

The counter person on duty on January 3 in the morning was very good. Curious and efficient. However, there was a long line about 9:15 AM and he could have used some help. 5 x 8 trailer was very dirty on the outside and the door was very difficult to open.

The express check-in using your mobile device was inconvenient and a waste of time. I ended up having to go inside and basically start a new contract. Also, locating my rental was nearly impossible as it was buried behind two other vans. I stood outside in the cold waiting for someone to help me who, ultimately, was not able to. Also, my rental was damaged and the side passenger door would not close all of the way. The employee on the lot guaranteed it was closed but throughout my entire moving experience, I was reminded by the vehicle that the door was ajar. Upon returning the vehicle, I was the first to pull into the return area and ended up being helped after three other returns arrived after me. The whole experience was unpleasant and there is absolutely no way I will be using U-haul for any further rentals.

We are a small Moving company and use U-HAUL often and this is one of the worst locations we have been to! We had to pick up a truck this morning and were told where to park since the lot was full and there was construction going on. The employee at UHaul told us we were safe parking where we parked and an hour later the same employee called asking us to come back and move our vehicle or it would be towed. We had to stop the job we were on and explain to our customer why we had to stop their move and we had to drive all the way back to UHaul and all the way back to our customers house! That's about 30 extra miles plus the gas! Called to speak with the manager to see about being compensated on the miles and gas and left 2 MESSAGES and sat on hold 2 additional times and had to hang up each time after 5-10 minutes of holding because again we run a small Moving company. No call back and charged for everything! Lost time on a job, a potential repeat customer and had to pay for extra miles and gas! Never using this UHaul again!

I received a call that I needed to drop off the trailer at this location. It was 9 miles from where I was, and I needed to drive in congested city traffic. There was a u-haul location 1 mile from me.

These guys were great. Charles & Benjamin helped me out when a local U-Haul Neighborhood location on Federal messed up and wasn't able to give me a truck. Charles & Benjamin had a truck ready and waiting, transferred over the pertinent information so I wouldn't be double charged, and assisted me in filing a complaint with the other location. I may have gotten the truck 2 hours after my original pick up time, but this location went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.

Having not been told about the key drop box, I made the mistake of locking the keys in the van when returning it after hours. The general manager Aaron called and told me that he would be issuing a fine for the cost of the locksmith. When I asked him whether he could justify the fine in terms of stated company policy and the contract I signed for the rental, he became frustrated and started making highly subjective arguments rather than referring to company policy. His argument was essentially "what kind of person locks the keys in the car" while I kept asking why the business wouldn't have backup keys. When I called customer service, they patched me through to roadside assistance who told me that the van's manufacturer warranty covers this issue, that there was no need for to charge a fee, and that the manager should have known that. Everyone else that I dealt with at the facility was pleasant and professional through my entire storage and moving process. It's unfortunate that such an innocent omission of details on the key drop resulted in the most unpleasant exchange I've had with any business.
