Very poor customer service and lied and said that I didn't put gas back in the U-Haul and charge my car and additional $106 and make me have to curse at customer service just for a refund because I was highly upset

The truck was finally given to me 4 hours after my original reservation time, which caused great delay for loading and a very late departure from destination. Additional fees were charged by my movers/loaders for waiting over 4 hours to get truck. Additional fees were charged by Uhaul for tolls, even though my personal EZpass was displayed & charged throughout my entire road trip.

Ruth H.I had the worst experience possible with my lease. I am a single mother. My children are 5 and 7 years old. I planned my move ahead of time. I do not have a car. And on Tuesday after I finished packing my house, I picked up my children from school and took an uber to the U haul location closest to my house where I had already made 2 previous reservations. I made the reservation by phone. When I arrive at 5.45pm to pick up my truck, they tell me that I am in the wrong location. The operator made a mistake in making the reservation. It's already night at 6pm due to the time change and I found myself in Boynton Beach without a car or truck and they have no solution for me. as i call claims and walk home with my kids i am told 6 times with stores throughout florida before contacting the claims department. It was already 7pm when they got me a truck in delray beach 6 miles from my house to pick it up at 9pm. I had to take another 25$ uber to get to the truck. Upon arrival I find that the truck is in the back of the business, surrounded by garbage cans and drunk people. The instructions on how to get the key were wrong and it took me almost 1 hour to get them. I got home at 10.30pm, that's 5 hours later than planned and an extra $25 + miles goes into my truck. I started to load the truck but it was so late and I already had so much stress that I couldn't finish. the next day was a nightmare. I had to extend the rental of the truck. another problem. I call and they tell me that there is no problem, but I couldn't find my wallet to make the payment so I said that I would call again. 30 min later when I connect again to pay, they tell me that it is not possible to do it, that the truck was rented and that I must return it at 9 am or that I can try to call at 7.30 am and connect with the timetable department or something like that . another stress. going to sleep exhausted and worried about having to return a truck that has my house full in the morning when I have to go to drop my children off at school. I got it. and pay 2 extra days to avoid having more stress. When I went to return the truck, they sent me an invoice for $200, where they did not discount the $66 that I paid plus the initial $43. And they did not apply the $50 credit they gave me for the bad experience of the first day.
Soledad P.Have a staff that speaks English and know how to check in and out for the Uhaul process. As a customer who reserved a truck in advance and checked in online, I should not have to wait for 40 mins past my reserved time and then speak with a manager over a phone to continue the check in process because the employees have no idea what is going on.
