At first I was told they don't take u-haul equipment (was returning truck). Then they "decided" it was ok to let me drop off the truck. I offered to sweep the back of the otherwise clean truck. Was told by employee A I didn't need to. Employee B comes along and asks me if I can read the sign that the truck must be brought back swept. Aargh. These guys couldn't have been more disinterested.

Trash unprofessional customer service, hidden and added charges. Rude beyond measure please I would advise my worst enemy to deal with this type of conduct.
I went to this location as a backup as I had initially made a last minute reservation at another location that was linked to a mailbox business. When I arrived, the 2 trucks they possessed were both rented out already (yet the system allowed me to reserve the truck). I booked this truck for a 2 hour limit to move ONE mattress from the store to my home and was not to drive more than 20 miles. I was told that the truck had â€œjust under 3/4 of a tank yet when I drove off, it had just over the tick mark JUST above the 5/8 mark. I moved the bed, the total USED drive mileage was 18 miles and I did stop at a gas station to put exactly 2 gallons back in the truck. When I returned the truck 1 1/2 hours later, the man I rented from (assume he owns the repair shop) came out, inspected the truck, then told me that I owed $7 for gas. I told him that I put 2 gallons of gas in the truck and it was actually returned MORE full than when I drove off. He looked straight ahead at the truck gauges and said â€œhave a nice weekend.â€ As this was a very odd behavior, I did not acknowledge what he was saying because I didn't know who he was talking to since he didn't even look at my face when he was saying this therefore, I just stood there. He said it AGAINâ€¦â€Have a nice weekend.â€ Was this the reply to me telling him I don't owe $7 for the gas? I saidâ€¦are you talking to me? He replied Yesâ€¦have a nice weekend. My replyâ€¦where is my receipt? He said that I would receive it by email and went back into the repair shop. I walked back to my car and waited for the receipt to show up in my email â€¦it NEVER came. I went BACK into the counter and asked for a paper receipt. He told me they don't have any and that I would receive an email. Again, it didn't appear in my mail so I demanded a paper receipt or verification of what I was charged. Interestingly enough, after refusing to leave without proof of what I was charged, the email appeared. As reviewing the charges, I noticed that HE OVERCHARGED me for the $7 gas that was not DUE to him as the truck was returned with MORE gas than I had taken it with! When I confronted him about this, he became irate likely because he tried to pull the wool over my eyes by NOT acknowledging me and trying to move me out of the property as fast as he could (without giving me a breakdown on charges). This man is lacking scruples and I would NEVER rent from him again. Buyer BEWARE!
Manager is rude to customers, and doesn't listen to any concerns and has no respect for the customers.
It's not exactly â€˜clean' in the trunk when we pick up the truck. There are also stuff left in the seat belong to others (mask). However, when we return it we were charged 25 dollar cleaning fee, which should take less than 10 seconds to sweep. Won't recommend this place.
The representative that helped me (Dimitry), was nice when I got there. What he lacked was going over the agreement, terms, and walking around vehicle. He spent 3 minutes cleaning it with a quick vacuum and wipe down (don't know if they even disinfected it due to Covid). He said just return it clean and gas where it was if I didn't want to get charged. So of course I did. I had the vehicle for 1 1/2 hours, and put 14 miles on it. My goal was to move 1 piece of furniture. During the drive, I began itching behind my right calf. It was like I was getting bit by a mosquito. But I thought that couldn't happen in a car. By the way, I am terribly allergic to mosquitos. It got worse and by the time I returned the van, I had a huge welt and rash. Something was under the driver's seat. I had reported this to corporate that the van be checked out. Moving on, upon return of the vehicle, Dimitry's attitude completely changed. He firmly said "You Have To Return The Vehicle Clean" I said I did. I had a pocket size dust that he pointed to on the driver's side (dust from stepping on ground to car) and about the same amount of dust on the van bed. He advised me that he didn't even have to be that courteous to even tell me (as if he was doing me a favor). I said he was being ridiculous and asked how much to clean it? He said $25.00. I said forget it, I'll do it myself. So I went to a local gas station, and cleaned it better than when I received the truck. Also note, in all my times renting UHaul's, this has never happened. He continued to be rude and condescending towards me. Despite the rash that I still have 3 days later from the vehicle, the van drive fine. I will NEVER go there again!!.
the car was very dirty on the windows, had tire issue and the costumer service was very bad as the person who rented was very rude to me due to my return. I did not even check the mileage when I sat in the car and I returned the car with more gas that I the time I picked it up. my worst experience was the person who was in charge and rented the truck to me , he even said you can rent from other locations next time because I brought the car back and I asked if the back of the truck is Clean or not , there was a few little broken plastic in there and I could have just took it out there but he made me get out with the car in the street and do it, also he never provided parking to me even when I rented the car for 3-4 hours only and I had to pay for my parking. he also said the front is dirty and I said show me, he had nothing to say after when I walked to see if it was dirty or not. he literally shouted at me when I said my dude the car is clean. and I was in shock when he raised his voice. and he said to me I am not nice when I said im a Nice guy and always rent from Uhal and never check because I trust the company. so overall if he works on his costumer service to his next client , it would be good for your company because your name is involved. I wont go back to that location again or refer to my friends around here even though its the most convenient to my location. but I had to take my time to write this for you and im glad I did for your information. thank you for reading my review. I wont go on yelp to write this even though I wanted to but I let it go. he made me upset that day when I had a lot of stress to move quickly and made me get out clean that little part and come back. anyways I hope it helped. thanks again
I returned the vehicle with more gas than it had when I picked it up and was still charged for gas. I took pictures of the gas meter before and after.

Vehicle was not cleaned and yet I was charged a cleaning fee. Also felt like the vehicle was having a hard time with breaking and starting.
Do not rent here. I posted a negative review on Yelp. The owner, Demitry, was extremely rude and attempted to cancel my online reservation after charging me in person! I am a regular renter of Uhaul vehicles for business purposes and having an owner threaten my business they way Demetry did was way over the line of acceptability. UHAUL should revoke his contact. Just look at how poorly his uhaul business review are on yelp.
I would recommend this location for anything else EXCEPT a u-haul. I've never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. My original drop off location was closed on Sunday (which no one ever told me) so I had to keep the van until the next morning but they denied me FROM THE PLACE I SCHEDULED TO RETURN MY VAN TO, and suggested I go to a different place. Then, I called the â€œotherâ€ place and they said I had to call the 1-800 number in order to authorize the location changed and I was on hold for 20 minutes. Luckily I was finally able to turn in my van (that I didn't even im want bc I ORDERED a 10â€ truck) after 2 hours of back and forth BS. I will NEVER use u-haul EVER again.
The vehicle was filthy and hadn't been cleaned. The guy was a little rude and didn't give me any paperwork. He didn't let me know that everything was done digitally until I returned the truck. It was not a good experience.
The windshield was broken. So the truck should not have been rented but there was no other choice. The local manager tried to bill me for an additional days rental even though I turned it in before 24 hours. I had to waste my time calling the national number twice, to get it sorted out :-(

The employee that checked me out didn't tell me about any charges he was putting on when I returned it, and I ended up overpaying for what I thought by $50. I think that's unacceptable, I'm not sure what warranted the extra $50 but would like an explanation.
Dishonest. Charged me cleaning fee. Van was dirty when I picked it up. Never again

Dimitri the owner of this local U-Haul franchise is one of the worst people I've ever dealt with in a business situation. He overcharged me for a cleaning that was nonexistent. He is rude and unprofessional. I've rented from him four times now And it gets worse every time. I will never Rent again from uhaul because of my experiences with this man. He should not be the front man for U haul
Perfect service. Quick. Easy. Professional. No extra BS. Haven't had any extra charges added to my bill either which has happened to me before at other locations in LA.
I was able to reserve a truck for 8 Am pick up but this was not possible at this location. Even though people were there, they did not let me take the truck until 830. I don't know why 8 am mobile pick up is an online option if that is not possible. The workers were also very rude when we dropped off the truck. He was on the phone and I didn't know and he was very sarcastic about it which was very unnecessary.
The service at this location was terrible. Dmitry is incredibly rude. I tried to discuss with him an overcharge issue and discrepancy between the mileage on my receipt and my before and after photos of the odometer and he told me in a very mean way that my problem wasn't worth his time and he had more important things to do (referring to his auto shop customers) basically telling me to leave. I had waited patiently while he helped his other customer and did not approach him in a rude way at all. That kind of treatment was hurtful.. Do not have a U-Haul rental operation at your repair shop if treating the customers well isn't worth your time. I'm very disappointed.

The good: I got a functioning van without much difficulty. The bad: the people were rude. The van had some maintenance issues and they overcharged me for gas cause I had to fill it up but it wasn't fully full when I got it. Not a great experience. Also no miles included.
