In the future when you ordering new vehicles, please take the front flush row seating which fits three persons. The truck I rent has only two seats, very sporty, but who wants being sporty when moving. Three seater gives us more choice and convenience.

Uhaul needs to hire more competent employees at both their dispatch center and retail locations. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to take down a credit card number, another 15 to process it, 10 to fax it over, and 20 minutes to correct a mistake when the client specifically said 'no insurance coverage which added another 10 minutes to correct and another 5 to fax over again. Get your head out of your a**es!!

Your system runs slow on peak days like Saturday, takes up valuable time that could be used moving.

We had to wait for over an hour for the representative to to arrive. The other employee at the counter was rude and not helpful. When the rep finally arrived he could not get the contract to print due to computer issues. We had to come back several hours later to finally get the truck picked up. I would not recommend this location to anyone!

Location was understaffed and after waiting about 20-25 minutes for the clerk to process people that had arrived after I did at the counter, he informed me that my truck wasn't available at the site, and he had to drive me to an offsite location. This also ate into my 24 hour rental period by about 25 minutes, but I was told that my rental could not extend to match the time, nor would I get a discount. When you have a team of folks waiting to move and the equipment/process runs this slow, it made a big negative dent into an already long day for us.

I did not expect to be required to return the truck to an inconvenient location in Indio. The return address was not pointed out by where I picked up the truck. I was very lucky to have the place where I needed to return, Postal Annex, arrange to accept it. I have rented U-Haul trucks for 4 of the last 5 weeks, returning them to Postal Annex, and will not drive around in the dark in Indio looking for a strange place to return near closing time. I am not familiar with Indio. Next time I will very careful to make sure I can return to where I know or I will cancel.

I was very disappointed in your company. I was lied to!! I was told that the 10 ft.(which cost less) did not have a lift but if I upgraded to the 14 ft. that it did have a lift. I paid more money for 14 ft and it did not have a lift, it only had a ramp. I could have saved some money. I will never recommend your company to anyone because you lie!!!

No one was there when I got there, had to wait till almost 10a.m. and was in such a hurry I did't notice the time that was on the paperwork when I signed the paper work. Then I had to wait for the truck to be cleaned. I was so late, my moving help left. I will never use them ever again. I called when I was waiting, and again after. I had to pay for another day because of not having moving help that morning. Totally unexecptable

Counter person couldn't figure out sales tax rate on a $3.49 plastic mattress cover. He then proceeded to say "just give me $5.00". Wheni refused he asked for $4.00. I refused again, calculated the sales tax for him and left. I wonder how many customers just take his word for it and pay the extreme rate?

The pick up location was at Rent a Wreck. the owner was almost an hour late witch put me behind schedule. I thought it would have been nice if the owner printed a map of the drop off locations. He refused and told me to call the 800 number. The store was dirty ad well as the truck. Other than that the truck was newer and in good mechanical condition.

The truck was filthy. Engine light on. Had only slight amount of gas which we replaced (to the line at the gas station right in front of store) to line--gas meter didn't move until return trip so THAT was defective also. Right visor broken.He said he would be open til 6pm. Arrived at 5:40 pm-store closed. Phone # on window disconnected. Area in back is like a ghetto slum with scattered trash where we found a hand cut hole in the door with scrawling..."Key drop" with an inch and a half opening at door bottom allowing the key to fall back outside after we dropped (had to shove it back under door so it couldn't be stolen). I have dealt with Uhaul all my life and have NEVER had such a horrible experience. When I moved cross country 25 years ago, it was thanks to Uhaul not even considering other companies. "I" called this morning and the owner said the gas was low. I maintained it was perfectly in line. He put me on "hold" and never returned. Then, proceeded to charge me $17.50 for 1/8 of a tank of gas AND $30.00 fill up service fee? Hell NO! All other company representatives prior to the rental and afterwards were pleasant and professional. This agent should be permanantly REMOVED from Uhaul's roster! Do us all a favor!

The only problem we had was that I had made a reservation @ 8:30am to pick up at Priceless Covina Car Rental @ 971 N Grand which was a few blocks from where we were moving from. The place was closed and when we called they directed us to pick up at the Arrow location which took me out of my way. This was total unacceptable as we had planned to start at 9:00am and I did not arrive with the truck until 9:45. I did receive a verication phone call on Friday evening to guarantee a pickup time. This was just poor customer service. Why make an appointment if you are going to be closed??? I could have gone directly to the other location or a closer one which I did see driving back and saved some time!!!!

Horrible location, scary to be in, not safe, unfriendly people, the location looked like a place that dirty deals drugs. The man was rude, the entire operation of that place was disgusting, how can U-Haul affiliate itself with a place like that! If U-Haul is so desperate to endorse places like that, I'm fine with never using U-Haul ever again.

Given a quote over the phone and was not told about the mandatory "insurance charge" of $14.00. I was also told over the phone that my card would not be authorized for charges, as I wanted to pay cash...but it was authorized for $80.00. When I went in to pick up the truck, I was not a happy person. To top it ALL off, the man behind the counter was VERY rude. I will not be back...

It is very cost prohibitive. I could save money hiring a few friends or employees with pick up trucks. I might do it again, but it is not something I would make regular use of for my transportation needs. Everyone was very polite, equipment was great, cost was only factor.
