My bill was incorrect and no refund was issued. Left location for less than hour and returned because truck was needed longer. Location could not accommodate and was charged full price. Charged for optional insurance and did not want insurance. No adjustment was made. Very disappointed and will not return or recommend.

I rented a box truck from this location last week. The cost for the rental was to be debited to my account on the day I rented. Which is normal. I get the email receipt and know my account has been charged. Not here, I received the email receipt the day I rented and wasnt charged for 5 days. That is too long of a time and makes no sense. Your charges showed up on my account the day we rented and then I wasnt billed for 5 days?? Something isnt right. I didnt authorize that. Money was to be taken the day of the rental. I am now nervous this location my charge me again just cause they can. I am an unhappy customer. Rachrl

When asked to clarify the fuel and mileage charges, the "Customer Service" Agent responded in a totally unprofessional and irate manner. I am neither her husband nor her child and will not tolerate such poor treatment. Whoever she is, she needs therapy..

The truck was not ready for me upon arrival Location worker made me move the truck from one side of the lot to the store so he could check it in. The. Check it out to me. Truck was dirty and smelled of urine. Gas was on 1/4 tank and paperwork said over 3/8 I explained to the worker about this and was told “close enough”. The truck barely ran and I could not go on the highway as it would not go over 50 mph. Meaning I had to take back roads and use more miles than I would have. The back of the truck still had the last users boxes in it. And trash all over it.

need to get better staff in there the guy jeff didn't know how to do anything then I was charged for 2 days and rental of dolly and furniture pads called the main u haul place and they are refunding half my money back girl at uhaul is so rude she should be fired if you need a uhaul don't ever go to the sandy bottom road one they are very rude and try to charge extra so they can p0ocket the money they need to get a whole new staff there

They charged me for an extra day since they closed early and no one was there to check me in. I tried self check-in but the app was not working. The staff was rude and extremely disrespectful when I called to ask. I should have read the other reviews first. It looks like they do this to frequently. They should not be a UHaul provider.

I got charged for an extra day when in fact I dropped the keys in the box the night before. I also drive by and say tidal it was moved already so they rented it again and doubled their money.

We showed up at appointed time only to meet another customer who had been there for an hour already. The clerk had no clue how to work the computer then called in help. She showed up w/4 kids-Got is out after an hour-clearing up your mistake that we had booked a 1-way to NH from RI-she was initially telling us we had to return truck to RI-she cleared it up and we got on our way—no problem with drop-off in NH. Thank God kids are done with school. Hope to never visit RI again.

The location itself was good, the staff helpful and friendly. The problem was with uhaul itself. We ordered our equipment on 7\13, to be picked up on 7\30 due to a move. We went through their express check in to "save time"during pickup a few days before our pickup. Due to an error on uhauls end, we were sent to three different locations for pickup, and then ultimately back to this location. That took two hours. By then, we had other things to do and so went to pick up the truck later that day. When we got to this location, we were informed that we did not pay for our equipment, despite the records that both my bank and uhaul had. Three hours later, we ended up needing to make a whole new order for the same equipment, and had to pay a second time. The owner of this establishment was amazing and not at fault, but uhaul itself was worse than useless. Had we not needed that equipment that day, we would have gone elsewhere.

I was charged for 2 days on the truck when I only had it for one.. I had it for 3 and a half hours, to be exact. I’ve left several messages at the facility I rented the truck from and can’t get a call back to discuss/correct their error. I just sat on hold for 10 minutes waiting to talk to someone at UHaul customer service and finally hang up, the recording suggested I leave a review on my rental experience. Here it is! I paid $60 more than I should have and apparently have no way of getting my money back. Next time I move, I’ll just buy new furniture instead of moving mine. It’d be cheaper, apparently!

I got this survey email because my personal contact info was never removed on an order that I canceled. Was very concerned that I was charged for a truck I didn't use so I had to call. Was told that I wouldn't be charged, but obviously they never removed the info at that point. And now I have the name, address, etc of the person that actually rented the truck. So there's that. Wonder if she's got mine now, too. I reserved a truck for 6/15 for two days, and a couple days later I had to cancel it because my closing got postponed. I called back and rescheduled for 6/25 for 2 days. On 6/23, I logged into my account because I realized I never got a confirmation email. Turns out that when I called, they made the reservation for 6/29 for 1 day. I called immediately and was told to call back the next day at 9 and that they "would definitely find me a truck". I called back the next day at 9 and was told I would get a call back in an hour. 3 and a half hours later I got a call back and was told that they had no truck but that a guy in West Warwick had two trucks. Called the guy in West Warwick and he had no trucks. This is the day before closing, on a Sunday when most things are closed. Now I've gotten contracts, receipts, and surveys that should have gone to poor Jennifer, who actually rented the truck, who now has no record of this transaction, and who has had her privacy violated. This experience made a very stressful time a million times more stressful, and I will NEVER use a uhaul again.
