Nothing! Great Staff. As we pulled in to the driveway, a U-Haul employee pointed out that I had a flat tire. It just went flat prior to arriving there. I did not have a car jack or lug wrench. The U-Haul employee offered to help us - AMAZING!!! We changed the tire, avoiding a long wait for "AAA" service, and were so grateful. INSIDE: The employee who set me up with the truck was excellent: friendly, efficient, and very personable. He explained everything clearly, articulated each feature and asked what else I might need. I was already rattled by the long drive to get there & the flat tire...but he and his fellow employee behind the desk were terrific! It is rare that a customer is treated so respectfully and with care & concern. Thanks Again - Awesome!

it was difficult to mark "No" for the question "was the personnel helpful?" as all were helpful and efficient with only one exception. I pointed out that my truck had no working radio, and which included a very long day on the road (9+ hours with NOTHING to listen to). I am confident he understood my complaint and the reduced quality/satisfaction for that specific point. But I can't say that I'm confident that the issue was logged and/or would be considered any further. It would be nicer to have someone acknowledge the issue and at least offer to escalate it.

Beware!! Our U-haul truck was stolen with the entire contents of our apartment. This has been a nightmare dealing with police, credit bureau, etc, and U-haul has been no help. The SafeMove "cargo protection" insurance does not cover theft. And any homeowner's or renter's insurance will only cover a small percentage since the items are considered "away from the residence." The thieves easily "punched" the door lock and ignition on the truck. U-haul puts no additional effort into making those trucks somewhat theft-proof. Also there is no tracking equipment even though item 12 of their contract describes an event data recorder. These vehicles should be equipped with a tracking device since that technology has been around for decades and can be considered an industry standard for fleet trucks. I found on-line that this location had another truck stolen just a couple of months ago – it is not as uncommon as you would think. Just a little heads up from the staff would have led us to block the truck in with other cars. It is misleading that theft doesn't happen often, that the "cargo" is insured and that the truck has tracking that could lead to a speedy recovery – all wrong.

Its sad that when you return the truck with a Quarter tank more than when you pick it up, that you don't get refund for the difference...Im done with Uhaul

Service people were exceptionally good. I recommend the on-line check-in; saved tons of time. However, U-Haul needs a second lane coming in at this location because when people are dropping off, it blocks the road for people wanting to leave their parking spots and new renters to check in.

Tank was received with 3/8 full of gas. I was at a photography site all day and did not have time to fill it up upon returning it. I used a little over 1/8 of a tank so it was slightly below 1/4. I was charged a $30 gas surcharge fee. If the tank was more full than 3/8 (why was it only 3/8 full? when I received it this would not have occurred. VERY disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

My car broke down on the day of move. I had to pay to tow the trailer to a uhaul dealer in another city. My car was repaired on day three and I drove back and picked up the trailer and returned it from the original pickup location. Instead of a one day rental I was charged the full three days . I would greatly appreciate a credit for the time I was waiting for my car to be repaired.

Friendly professional service, all of your sales reps working GM were knowledgeable and helped everyone with a sense of urgency and took great care of me and everyone who was in line in front of me. We made an advance reservation at a small store in Costa Mesa, CA, on Harbor, I think. When we got there we were told that they had given away the two dollies we had applied for. We were re-routed to the store on 2680 Newport, where they were wonderful. Tough to start a move 2 hours later, but we did OK. It would have been nice to have been called to tell us that we didn't have to come to the first place. The 2680 Newport folks were superb all the way; please buy them each a sports car.
