This location is mainly a storage unit and not a U-Haul company that service the equipment. I was traveling from Texas to Florida and was promised a truck in good condition, just the opposite. The back tire was low and the vehicle pulled to the right. Had to stop and add air to the tire and the stem required a special air hose to reach the stem.

Didn’t have my information even though I had called earlier to transfer it. Luckily I purchased insurance or I would have been charged for light scratches on the top of the truck that there was literally no way could have happened on my drive. A few hours late of my two day window, charged an extra $75.00 which Is very customer unfriendly.

I don't know her name but when I reserved the truck it was a young white girl that was vey helpful. I can't say that about the heavy set hispanic woman when I returned the rental, she was awful. You would of thought she was the owner, the way she was carrying on blaming Uhaul company for everything.

The place I rented the uhaul from was great and very nice but the actual uhaul company it's self were very un helpful i had just got back in to town after Harvey and I live in cc,tx btw . i had lost the key I admit that was my fault but when I called them they proceeded to give me the run around and tell me they could help for just about 4 hours and then tell me it's my fault I lost the key well I know it was my fault I had told them that from the beginning but they had told me I had to get a new key it was Sunday so 5 hours and 160$ out my pocket later I unloaded my stuff by myself up stairs point is they need to be more informant to there employees and maybe they could save there customers more time ( like 4 hours) and maybe be a little more helpful thanks and f*** uhaul ??

The person in charge tried to sign me in at 9:30 on the 19th. She was training a potiontial employee. She had a problem printing my contract. After numerous calls for help, the contract was printed. Had requested a Dooley but was not on the contract. She apologized and let me have one at no cost. Was not told there wasn't a ramp for the Dolley so could not use it. She did not have me check out the truck for any dents or collision. She said the truck is half full and must be returned as such. Due to being there for over a half hour due to getting the form printed, I was late loading the truck. I could not return the truck that same day at 5:00pm. Had the truck unloaded the next day and returned it at 9:57. She was very angry at me and I told her rentals are for 24 hrs. She said I owed her for an extra day for being a half hour late. Told her I would not pay an extra day. It was not any different than her keeping me there for a half hour trying to print my form. She then said I owed extra money for not filling up the truck. Reminded her it was half full and it was over half full when I returned it. Her co- worker had already checked the truck and told me and had documented the results. She did not believe him and went out to Check herself. Came back furious and said he was correct. She also got a call from UHaul that I did not need to pay for another day. This is all happening with three customers in the same room. I will never rent at the Chapperal location again. Customers waiting also disapproved of her actions.

I ordered a dolly to rent, but this location doesn't even have them (at all). I was bothered by the fact that i wasnt previously told this through a phone call at least. I didn't find out until checkout when it was too late to go to another uhaul rental location.

I have never had a worse experience with a company as I did with U-Haul. First and foremost, I reserved a truck two weeks in advance of my pick-up date to be picked up in Marlinton, WV. The night before my 9am pick-up, I was informed via an automated e-mail that I actually had to drive one hour EACH WAY out of my way to Beverly to get the truck - a two hour inconvenience total...which actually would have been a total of four hours inconvenience because I would have had to drop off my vehicle and go all the way back to pick it up. When I called to complain, I was informed that I could pick up a smaller U-Haul with a trailer in Marlinton. So, off we went to Marlinton, only to find out that they didn't have a truck or a trailer. I will never use this company again, and one should note, that bad word of mouth is the absolute worst form of advertising. On a positive note, I would like to thank the man who drove my boyfriend all the way to Beverly to pick up the 14 foot truck. The truck pulled in around 7:30pm - which made for a miserable night of loading in the dark. This whole scenario was to begin with a 9am pick-up. Unreal.

we was told when renting the truck we would not get charged for mileage if we did not go over 50 miles an we only went 22 miles so why are we being charged for this..look into this cause we do have the contract here still

we had a flat tire early on our six hour moving trip called uhaul for assistance and was stranded on an interstate over two hours waiting for them to send someone to fix the flat
