I experienced a great deal of difficulty with the phone pick up. 1) I was timed out because of being later than 15 minutes after reservation time, because my account froze 2) the reservation system froze my account 3)I spent over 50 minutes on the phone with a manager literally creating a new account and after all that 4) no lock box code was provided. In general it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this service. If I rent again it will be in person.

Location was supposed to be open until 6. It was closed shortly after 5 when we went to return the truck. Spent about 45 minutes on the phone going thru what happened in the morning and why the truck number was different than initially planned and being told we'd incur extra charges for dropping the truck off at the wrong location when this was the drop-off location on our contract. A lot of hassle all the way around. Out of the whole crazy day, we had one person with customer service skills. The others were not so helpful. We will not be using U-Haul again.

I was happy with the service provided by West Side Storage. I felt confident that the representative was knowledgable and was able to answer questions. She was extremely helpful. My experience with the call center and the Veodem blvd location in Akron Oh were both disappointing. I was given 2 different quotes from the call center so I decided to go to a brick and morter location in Akron to make a reservation in person. I felt as though I was bothering the sales associate by asking to make a reservation. He was annoyed with the amount of questions I asked and offered no input. He told me the nearest drop off for my 1 way trip was 20 miles away from my destination. When I picked up the truck from West side storage, the sales associate stated that there were 2 drop off location 5 miles away from my destination. Natashia from the call center called me repeatedly (almost every say) wanting to finalize my call center inquiry even though I called to say that I was not using the call center to book my reservation. I am shocked that my experience was so unorganized and frustrating due to poor employee communication. I actually called the call center again today to tell Natashia stop calling me about a reservation. When I asked the employee if I would be getting a survey regarding my experience, he said NO and that I would have to contact customer service at the call center to voice my frustration. I later opened this email to find that I did get a request for feedback from Uhaul. Again, poor communication and/or lack of training. DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE!!!

I purposely booked my move approximately 10 days in advance of my need, and I chose the West Side Storage location because it is within 5 miles of my home. I was alerted that I may have to go to another Uhaul location approximately 10 miles away if West Side did not have a 10' truck for me. While this was undesirable, it was acceptable to me. However, when I received my formal location for pickup, the location was approximately 40 miles away which was about 1/2 of the distance of my total move, and the truck was 15' rather than 10'!! Fortunately, when I contacted West Side about this undesirable situation, Jason went out of his way to track a 10' truck that was due into his facility by 10 AM on the day of my move. The truck was late being returned, but I was able to get the truck that I needed at the location that I preferred. However, this was SOLELY due to the service that Jason provided. From the equipment and location provided in my confirmation, I have no idea why I should reserve any truck at any location since Uhaul obviously does not care about meeting a customer's needs. Because of Jason's service, I would refer a friend to his location, but otherwise, I would not recommend Uhaul.

I was scheduled to return the truck to a location in Medina that could not accommodate my size. They left me a voicemail giving me new location tomdrop truck at. Called Building 9. When I went to drop it off there was a gate at the road. I couldn’t return truck. Then U haul never picked up when I called for help.

Horrible customer service! Waited 20 mins and no one was there to help. The rude lady finally showed up and said she was at lunch. When I asked her in the parking lot if she worked here, her reply was "yeah" and processed to talk rudely to me saying she didn't need to be there for me to drop it off. I told her, she should be here during business hours to help with any questions I may have had. Just very rude and will never do business at that location again. Poor customer service.
