I will not use u haul again for the fact that they lied. When I set up the contract the lady on the phone said they gave military discounts but could only do it at the end of the time and equipment was turned back in. This was a lie and I will let my other military friends and buddies know this.

I spent 45 minutes on the computer trying to get the reservation straight. I also tried calling and chatting online. I couldn't get anyone to help me. We were considering using UHaul this summer to move to another state but after the difficulty I had booking this trip, I don't think I will.

Personnel inside were very helpful, location was clean. Only recommendation would be to implement signage for where trailers should be dropped off. There were multiple trailers located on-site, so it was relatively easy to find, but if there were less trailers it would be hard to find the right location.

I waited 37 minutes for the contract to be written up and given key to the truck. I was only person at the location picking up at the time. I was told to verify miles and gas level before I drove away to make sure it matched my contract. Poor customer service and when I returned I was asked if I took a photo fuel gage and odometer. Not impressed with customer service took my credit card when I made the reservation and three times when writing the contract. Gave average rating but service was not good this visit.

The dealer at concord shops messed up my reservation. I asked for a one way reservation to drop off at another location as I was moving from concord to Pineville North Carolina. They told me serval times they modified the reservation and changed it to a one way. I trusted them that they made the changes in the system as they ensured me it was taken care of and I did not need to return to concord. When I arrived at another U-Haul location that was not the case and it resulted in hours of waiting to be finally told I had to drive the U-Haul 45 miles back to the original location because no one could do anything for me. To top it off the dealer at concord shops screamed at me, accused me of being to blame for the issue, and told me U-Haul isn’t profitable for him so he doesn’t care that this was an inconvenience to the customer. All he did was credit me the miles to drive back to his store. Needless to say I will never be renting from U-Haul again. I will say that the workers at the Lancaster highway location in Pineville North Carolina were VERY helpful and kind to me when I showed up there and they explained to me how the man at the concord shops location had messed up my order. I wish the concord shops could have shown me the same customer service very disappointing.

My uhaul was moved from one location to this one, and the proper uhaul guy wasn’t even there! The man at the desk completely ignored my reservation, and charged me for a larger truck! He was rude and kept leaving me to make phone called, resulting in me being there for close to a hour! DO NOT GO TO 450 Pitts School Rd!

Train location on mobile pick up. Keys were not in truck, he said I didn’t have a reservation. I had to prove I had already paid. Thankfully I could see the guys computer and could see my name and showed him that was me. He still required me to show my ID. There was nothing fast about getting the truck. He was the only one working so I kept walking away to check people out at register. Truck was great. Did mobile check out. That was great. Went to drop keys off and leave and new guy chased me and brought me back into the store to verify all my paperwork. I told him I did it all on the mobile check out and he still had to verify everything on the computer. This location needs trained with the mobile check in and check out

They did not have the appliance dolly we paid for and never took it off the bill. Plus told us not to worry about putting gas in the truck since there were so many issues but charged us for gas too. Never using them again. Awful service. the truck had empty soda bottles and trash in the back too

The location is a busy Citco gas station. I drove a 24 foot truck with 9 foot trailer into the parking lot and there was no plce to park it. The atendant then asked me to back it out, unhook and push the trailer into a spot, and then park the truck behind the building. I refused. He then had me go out and take a picture of the odometer and gas gage, so he didn't have to go outside in the icy weather. I did that, and then he sent me back out to get the key for him. I did that reluctantly. Then he told me my receipt would be emailed later. The guy that inspects the trucks wasn't there. To say I was offended is an understatement. This place was utterly offensive.

Had to wait around almost 20 minutes as clerk had the stock shelfs in his grocery store before booking my rental. Back of truck was not swept out from previous use. Other than those two items service was friendly and truck was in good shape. Will use again if need arises

Personnel don’t speak or understand English. I was charged a late fee because the clerk on duty could not check in my trailer return. When checked in later by another clerk, I was billed $20 for being 90 minutes late when I actually returned the trailer 30 minutes early.

I was assigned this location despite the fact that my requested location was much closer to me. The address was listed as 450 Pitts School Rd, but it turns out that there are two 450's, depending on which end of the road, SW or NE, and I went to the wrong one. So this address is incomplete. This location is a convenience store with no U-Haul supplies. So the dolly and moving pads that I had contracted for were not available. The clerk when I arrived did not know how to do the U-Haul checkout, and he kept leaving me to check out customers paying for coffee and donuts. Only the fact that the manager finally came in made it possible for me to get the truck. This after a considerable delay, despite the fact that I had checked in online and prepaid. I have used U-Haul of of my life, but this experience will make me hesitate to do so again.

I rented a tow dolly. The ratchet that holds the strap was Rusty and hard to operate. Maybe just a little preventive maintenance on them would help. I don't think it was to the point that it needed to be replaced but maybe some type of lubricant would have helped. Also the man behind the counter couldn't tell me what size ball I needed on my receiver to tow with. I had to call the 800 number and ask customer service. I understand that the service is not going to be as good at a service station that happens to rent UHauls verses a UHaul branch. So I wasn't expecting a lot from the guy.

I would really appreciate if you guys delivered what you promised (express check in) which was not at all express. Also had to pick up from 2 places (truck and then the rental equipment). And was told by the customer service associate that they would be adding the extra miles (apart from the 30 miles included in my rental) for making me pickup the truck from a farther location due to unavailability at the preferred location, But not added and was charged for those extra miles. THOROUGHLY disappointing
