Very Slow, Told me I had to check in off my phone when I chose counter pick up. had a rough time with wifi when returned to get me a receipt. Not the lady's fault It sounded like they came from different locations with 0 training. I finally got frustrated and left without my receipt

the 24/7 truck share service was a pain to say the least. Took over an hour and a half to finally get the truck and the customer service people were clueless when it came to helping us figure out how to actually pick up the truck. had to take a picture of every little detail when it came to picking up and returning it the whole process took a half hour each time alone to take and upload pictures. Was supposed to be less of a hassle but was the worst experience and would not recommend this to anybody. Was overcharged $40 as well and was offered no explanation as to why this was added on.

The online experience was a struggle. With the busyness of the move, my phone was not charged enough to do the pick up process by myself. People prefer a one on one experience when it comes to renting a truck.
I was not provided with a furniture dolly and there was no one there to help me. I had to get the furniture I purchased so I ended up having to lift and carry a heavy sofa, chair and shelves. I hurt my back and spent the weekend in bed. The pick up/ drop off location was dark and scary. I was nervous leaving my vehicle there. I had to find my way in the dark to find the key pick up. It is near a apartment complex and there was a lot of traffic people walking around me and I did not feel safe trying to get the van checked in. While trying to take the pictures I was so nervous because the area is dark and people were walking behind me. I should not have been charged for the rental when the equipment was not provided. The dolly is an important part of a rental and there is no excuse for it not being provided. It is unacceptable and the location should take responsibility for the failure to provide the rented equipment.
I was charged twice and the company has not responded as to why. Not happy.

When I called and made my reservation, the terms conditions and costs were all laid out. When I picked up my vehicle, all terms conditions and costs were repeated again. I then signed a contract stating those exact terms and two days later I get a notice on my email that they have taken out ADDITIONAL money from my credit card without prior knowledge. When I called to inquire I discovered that they had changed the contract - AFTER THE FACT!! And no one has responded to my attempts to rectify this deplorable circumstance. I am just so surprised! I have dealt with U-Haul for over 40 years and nothing like this has ever happened to me! I feel like a victim of bait and switch! And I am shaken by this experience.
When I came to pick up my uhaul at the specified time no one was at the location on Alpine in Grand Rapids. I had to call and wait for her to get to the national storage location. Then she had trouble getting the keys out of her lock box. I was over an hour late getting my uhaul
It took well over 10 minutes to get the confirmation code from the app. We were well on to other Ventures before we ever got a confirmation about the return.

The gentleman in the store was friendly enough, but my experience on the phone booking this that was at your call center was not good. The back of the truck was dirty and the inside was dirty. I had rented a U-Haul two weeks before and it was like a brand new truck . a little disappointed with this one but the guy was nice enough I would use them again

After the EXTREMELY frustrating experience with your 24/7 "you-pick-up" experience, I was really impressed with the professionalism of the gentleman running this location and how quickly he was able to get us on the road. Honestly, he was your company's saving grace with me.
