We reserved a 17 foot truck but when we arrived to pick it up, they didn't have one so we got stuck with a 15 foot truck. This caused us to have to make more trips than we should have. The morning after we picked up the truck, the battery had died and we needed to get it jumped. Overall, difficult experience with uhaul.

The computer program used to print contracts (I believe the sales rep said it was called Web Best) was not allowing him to print my contract and I had to wait for at least 15 minutes while he figured out another option to print a contract for me to sign. Please figure out the bugs in that program so it doesn't affect others in the future.

I was pleased because it is close to where I live. The process was explained to me quite well prior to my reserving it, and I am glad I did reserve it ahead of time. It was easy to drive and served our purpose well.

The woman at the counter was rude. I was not told to provide a receit for gas. I did put gas in but did not know I needed to show proof. I only put 11 miles on the vehicle. I paid for it at 15 miles and was charged $60 more than was told to me. I will be disputing the charges.

Definitely the worst U-Haul location I have ever rented at. As a service professional, I was amazed. I immediately noticed the "25-year U-Haul" when I was in line waiting and had full confidence that I would be getting another great experience with U-Haul. Unfortunately, how I was treated was nowhere near what I could anticipate. I had the "fortune" to experience both shop staff members' under-satisfactory behaviors. Check-in: Both were extremely impatient and intimidating, and they wouldn't explain the policies further, "I've already told the person in front of you! You should've heard!" Equipment: I reserved a 9" cargo van. They did not check anything related to the van or even tell me where the van was located. I walked all the way around the building then found the van in the back alley. The van had two alerts on the dashboard: requiring oil change and low tire pressure. The van was parked dangerously close to other vehicles. But these alarming issues the two shop staff members wouldn't know because they use a check-out "shortcut" so they don't have to check the vehicle condition, mileage or fuel level even when it's returned, maybe after 25 years of experience. Check-out: I made sure I have a full tank and recorded the new mileage before I returned the vehicle key. Instead of having to check fuel level or mileage, they demanded gas purchase receipt and simply asked me what the mileage was without verifying. This shortcut could be understandable in some way since the store could get busy sometimes. After a quick hour, I returned the van three hours early just in case they would need additional time to verify the vehicle condition, etc. if it did get busy. Fortunately, no one in line, but when I mentioned they should verify the mileage, fuel level and check the condition. The answer I received was simple but each time became more intimidating: "I don't have time for this. Where is your receipt?! DID YOU GET A RECEIPT?! The answer is one word! YES OR NO?! YES OR NO?!" Wow. I was blown away. I left in silent fury after he handed me back documents. Wow. 25 years of U-Haul. I glimpsed at that sign again when I stepped out the door. When I saw in my inbox "rate your recent U-Haul experience..", I thought to myself: "I guess my answer is one word: 'WOW'".

I would suggest defining better the size and types of trucks or showing example pictures. I was hoping for a 17' box truck in requesting a larger size. That's no fault to U-haul, only my poor research. But having better, more realistic size comparisons and depictions would be helpful for future customers.

I have been used uhaul rental service for several times, including in this store. This time is the worst and ridiculous. The lady was so unprofessional and actually rude. I requested an appliance dolly online two days earlier but it was unavailable when I picked it up. I told her that I should be notified earlier. She replied something like "you should rent uhaul in other stores". Couldn't believe it's the way how she does business. She later made one mistake when printed out the invoice by charging more. I pointed it out then she clearly showed attitude. I do have good experience with other guys in that store but this lady totally ruined my impression.

The lady at the counter was borderline rude, the least personable person I've ever seen, robotic, repetitive. Also trying to reserve a truck was pain, the system didn't accept me and I spent an hour out of my work day calling the reservations office which screwed up, too. And back and forth twice till I got the reservation. The website also said I could rent a ten foot U-Haul at 1 PM and at 7 PM and that did not match the information I got over the phone.

I can't think of anything to improve. I don't know the names of the two employees that helped us with check-0ut and check-in, but both guys were very friendly, very helpful and very efficient. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Busy place in the summer, but great service. The guy who runs the place is on top of everything and will get you going as soon as possible! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move.
