left tail light was out on trailer when we picked it up. guy didn't have any bulbs to replace it. told me to go to another uhaul. this uhaul could not get in the locked box to get to the bulbs. told me to go to ANOTHER center. the final center was able to help. (Shane on US Hwy 1 in Lexington was extremely helpful and apologetic) HOWEVER, I used an HOUR of my moving time to deal with this problem, not to mention the gas it cost going back and forth through Columbia and Lexington, SC. Not to mention, I had to get a uhaul because my father had passed away and I was moving his things he left me to my home in North Carolina. I was not happy with Uhaul, at all!

When I called the 24 hr number they guy told me to put something in the mailbox. I advised him that I wasn't given anything when I was given the uhaul. He told me where to park it and that it would take care of it when he got it the next day. He was pretty helpful to be someone over the phone

I originally scheduled a 10 foot truck but was substituted a 15 foot truck. In addition, I was given 182 miles for a one way trip, when you changed the type of truck you also reduced my allowable miles to 160. The result was that I used 166 miles and was charged an additional $2.59. Not a big deal but I feel Uhaul did not live up to their end of the deal.

The cab had a very heavy smoke smell. I didn't check the gas on the contract closely enough, but the actual gas level was well below the level on the contract. Also, i didn't want the insurance, which was clear on my reservation, but it was placed on my bill anyway. I didn't read it slowly enough, and didn't realize it until I was turning the truck in.

Waited for 2 hours to get my uhaul after showing up on time for reservation I had for weeks. Then got told no equipment was available for me. I was then sent to another location where I waited for another 40 minutes. I was then sent back to the original location to pick up the truck. I was told would be credited $50. I have not seen it yet. This must happen! I must be contacted soon and this resolved. 8039791050

I wasn't really sure about the process of how to pick up the u haul truck after hours, so I stopped the location early to ask some questions. The older man that was in the office was rude and very sarcastic. In the middle of me trying to ask questions, a phone call came through which turned out to be a personal call for him. Instead of him saying I'll call you back, he had a long long conversation with someone about what happened the previous night at his house. I will never rent from this location again. Other than that, the ease of pick up process was easy after I googled how to pick and return after hours. The truck was clean and ready to go when I went to pick it up later that night. I just think there should be an email sent along with confirmation about the process of picking up the u haul truck after hours.

We had to change our date twice for the rental and they were understandable. They were on time and very courteous.

Called 6 times between 12-2 and no one answered. No one was in the office when I arrived, though the sign said "open". The gate was also locked so I could not get to the door to knock. After about 15 minutes, a guy. And from the back and said he was with a customer, though no one was there. He smelled like marijuana and was clearly high, overly talkative and took a long time to process. He also charged me for a two day rental and forgot my tow dolly even though I had confirmed my 24 hour rental reservation online and already checked in. Very disappointed. Awful customer service.

Loved how easy it was to rent after hours. I only needed it for two hours to move a couch and it was 7 at night. Reserved the truck, followed the simple instructions, and the whole process was less than five minutes. Thanks again Uhaul!

The man who handled our transaction was extremely rude and argumentative. I was running a little late and he said "If you ain't here by 10:30 you ain't getting it. I have a doctors appt and won't be back for the day." Who closes an office for an appointment? Why is this my problem? I paid 1800$ to be treated like I inconvenienced him. I am thankful I don't ever have to deal with him again.

The truck needed washing. I had to clean the windows before I started my move. But it was clean on the inside. It drove and handled greatly. Was very pleased other wise.

Location was closed at time of drop off, very difficult to locate, and very dark. Be extremely careful as to where you park your truck when leaving it. There is writing on top of the key box drop but no other details about parking that we saw, and when its dark you can't read the key box directions. We were charged a $100 "Cleaning Fee" for a couple pieces of trash and apparently where we parked the truck, and $13 in taxes which I've read from other comments on here that seems to be fairly common for this dealer and apparently is above the South Carolina tax levy. I called to ask about the cleaning fee and the attendant answered all questions, but was smug and rude. I'd rather pay the wrong destination charge fee and drop the truck somewhere else than have to deal with these people..
