Two employees at this location, as soon as I pulled in with the trailer, one was out there to show me where it had to go, as soon as I disconnected it from the van, he grabbed it and man-handeled it in position for me. Great staff and very helpful, again, since I had done everything online, very quick drop-off and drive away.

I was forced to pick up my rental 4'x8' trailer from Columbia, MD instead of Owings Mills, MD. When I asked for a phone number to reach out to the uhaul call center I was given a 1-800 number that directed me to some bullsh!t survey. I called my preferred location off red run blvd in owings mills, MD for help and they gave me the right number. I was told there's no way for me to get my trailer of choice at that location but could be upgraded to a 8'x12' trailer for the same price. I declined due to the size being well over what I needed. So, I drove down to Columbia, MD and picked up the trailer. I inspected it for damages and to insure the lights work since I rented a trailer before and the entire left side of the trailer would not light up. After checking the lights and having the same problem, I informed the attendant and he willingly swapped the connection cables out and it was all set. As I left the lot and started my way back to my apartment to load it up, I noticed that the trailer wasn't handling well while driving back so once I got to the apartment I noticed one tire on the trailer was flat. Hoping it was just because someone forgot to reinflate it I inspected the tire to find a nail in it. Great... just my luck. So, i tried calling uhaul and was sh!t out of luck since the uhaul center closes at 5pm and I called at 5:23pm. I waited until 9:15am the next morning to call again and was told i should have an emergency call list within the pamphlet I was supposed to be given. All I was handed from the Columbia, MD location was my reciept and a contract paper for the trailer. After explaining this to the red run blvd location in owings mills, MD they told me I could take off the trailer's damaged tire and get it repaired and that I would be compensated for the expense when I drop off the trailer in FL but was also given the hotline for road side assistance. Awesome! I thought... I went to walmart to get the nail removed and plugged. I waited 3.5hrs for them to call me back to say it cannot be done. So I picked up the tire and called the hotline for road side assistance. Here is where I almost lose my mind!! What the flying F@$K kind of half @ss operation do you clowns run!?!!?! When i called, i was on hold for 45minutes before your god damn trash automated system annoyed me enough to go online to your help link. Why the f$@k am I forced to go online for help?!?!? What if I didn't have access to the internet?? I filed for help and was assisted within 15minutes. However, finding a subcontractor to come replace the tire took 1.5hrs, and they took 2 hours to get to me! I already had everything in order for the replacement tire. All i needed was a new tire. I would have driven to any tire store that had one ready to put it on myself! No, instead I was forced to waste TWO DAYS for a simple repair any @sshat with a jack, tire iron, and stands could have fixed withing 15minutes!!!! Thank the FUCKING lord I purchased your $50 protection plan or else I

Not clear it was a UHaul drop off location. No assistance offered to unhook the trailer in the back of a gas station. Poor service!

Communication. I received a called in evening 6/10 e and was informed that I had to pick up from another location. Come to find out. I had a drop off at one location( laurel ) and another pick another ( Columbia ). I ended up going to Columbia location paying for additional cost because I did not drop off at the appropriate location. This was inconvenience and costly for using the uhaul truck.

Reserved the vehicle over a month before my scheduled move. Found out the day before the move that my pick-up time was changed to 6 hours later (the person working at the location admitted that the truck was given to someone else that requested it nearly 4 weeks AFTER i did). There were no other trucks at ANY other local U-Haul center OR competitors that could accommodate me. The manager at customer service was only willing to offer me $50 credit. Apparently this is a common practice. It took over 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul before i got my truck back. If this happens to you, talk to the people in traffic control! They fixed the issue in 5 minutes.

There were three 20-ft trucks in the lot but the two young men operating the pick up point insisted I take the truck with the 3-ft long cracked windshield and the rear tire rim coated in a suspicious rust brown dusting. An indicator of a potential problem with the rear breaks or axle. All the other rims on all the trucks were clear and the other windshields were undamaged. They assured me that the truck was inspected and safe. For safety reasons I still refused to take that truck on my 465 mile trip and was about to cancel, when they agreed to give me another truck, which handled well during the trip. To be fair, their behavior was polite in resolving the issue, but just a bit evasive. If the rejected truck was in fact safe to drive, then I apologize to both of them.

This location was unorganized and there was an extremely long wait. I reserved a one way 20ft truck, was told it had less than a quarter tank of gas in it and was given a $17 credit to compensate. When i returned the truck to 8300 benson dr in Columbia, Md., i was told that the credit would be reversed since the initial rep who offered the credit had "adjusted the gas gauge" . I dont know company jargon and this was certainly not my error. I do know that the credit was given and taken away and i was forced to pay for more gas to compensate. Horrible experience!! May start using Penske.
