I would like to have known that the 10' truck did not come with a ramp or hand truck. I usually rent 15' trucks that have both. Not having these things made the move slower and more difficult.

I can not say enough about the return location. The gentleman at the location went far and above. On this rental he tried to help us resolve the over charging on the insurance. As I previously indicated it has not been resolved but he tried. I went to the location get boxes and he met me at the car, prepared the order an dput them in the car. Since, i have bad knees i really appeciated this. Additional, i had a second truck reserved at the location to drive south. He verified that he would have a truck for Tuesday, we got home from picking up supplies at the location and got an email saying there were no trucks available at his location so we went else where. Later the day of pick up the gentleman called wanting to make sure we got a truck. I told him the story and he said he understood it happens all the time when reservation are made on line. It was not said in a negative way but a reassuing way that i should not feel bad. In the future, if I need Uhaul equipment, i will go directly to the location to make my reservations. The runaround making a reservation online is ridiculous!! Adds more stress to an alreay stressful situation.

The tire blew out and it was after hours so we drove it back to the U-Haul place and parked it because I didn't want to drive on a flat tire. We contacted them and left a message on a voicemail telling them what happened and we called and tried to get our money back since we didn't get to finish our move and the guy was rude and told us that he would not give our money back and blamed it all on us.

The above was for the location I wound up with after being bouced around. My original order was messed up and I wound up being pushed 140 miles out of my way and added an hour and a half to my trip. Also, not only was my order was changed from dolly to trailer and my pick up location changed, my drop off location also moved across town and added even more time to my already 12 hour day. This was unacceptable! I was completely dissatisfied with my experience!

The location was dark and seemingly unsecured. There was a dog there, but it was behind a gate. The drop-off location was after hours and the central office didn't seem to know if they had after hours drop off or not. Very confusing. Also, it wasn't intuitive where to park the vehicle. I was also advised to leave the AT car carrier hooked up. Yet, I was charged $25 for the unhooking of the car carrier. At least, that's what I believe the charge was. It wasn't clear. Also, probably not the fault of the drop-off point, but the mileage calculated was 17K over the amount forecast. That was totally unexpected and way off. Overall, it would have been nice to have someone there to assist, since this was my first time utilizing this service. Understand the holidays. It was dark and difficult in the pictures required for the online check-in process.
