Where to start. First no one tried helping with hooking up the trailer. And the ball size of the trailer was 2" where as my truck was bigger so I had needed a different ball or trailer since I was already at a hardware store and it had already been am hour. I was just going to purchase one. But I definitely was not going to be paying that stores 20 dollars the store charged. Found one for half that. So by the time I got it straightened out it was almost 6 pm.which brings me to that garanteee that u-haul would not honor because of me having wrong size hookup. Oh and the trailer had no working marker lights. Still wouldn't give me that reservation garanteeEric M.

This has nothing to do with the location but I was not made aware of the " rental tax" that was added to the cost of the rental. This should have been included in the quote for the rental. The website should have included this change so it wasn't a surprise when I picked up the rental. If I was on a tighter budget it could have prevented me from using the equipment and would have been a major issue,Captain B.

It took me about 2 hours to get access to the truck. First, I arrived and had to go inside to get the keys. Unfortunately, the truck had been used the night before and the key returned. The assistant manager there did not have a key to the return key box so I could not get access to the truck initially. While the assistant manager worked to try to find another truck at a different location, I got in contact with a U-Haul agent who attempted to get me a reservation at another location about 30-40 minutes north of my desired packing location. This reservation fell through due to the UHaul servers crashing. Finally, returned back to the store and the UHaul agent requested that someone get the key to the key return box so that I could use the original truck I was assigned. This resulted in me getting the key about a half hour later. Overall, again, took about 2 hours to finally get the truck from check-in to getting access to the truck. I acknowledge that a lot of this was just bad luck (servers crashing, assistant manager not having a key), but this really should never happen to anyone. I am appreciative of the staff at the location and the UHaul agent for being patient during the entire process though as I know it was frustrating for all involved. The assistant manager also seemed eager to make sure that this never happens again which is promising to me.Anthony D.

The app that is being used is not working like its supposed to. You need a backup because we shouldn't have to wait so long due to the app. Have a fail safe. Technology is only good when it works, remember that.Danielle B.
I think it is very unfair how you all choose to muslead people on your online services. It doesn't make sense for a person to pick up a truck 6 miles away and not drop it off at the same location, when it's another 6 miles back. I am very displeased with the fact you charged me 117.00 for a 50.00 trip. I did NOT sign up for a one way. Your misleading online service forced me too. It is even more sad that you don't feel the need to rectify the situation. I have used U haul for years and this is my worse experience ever. I didn't move from city to city. I moved from neighborhood to neighborhood. You make millions of dollars, and you can't give a poor person like me $50 dollars back?? Now that's sadd This is a mark against uhaul not the pick up and drop off. They were nice and friendly men.Alegra R.

Had an appointment to pick up truck at 8:00. Personnel were not on the scene to sign it out until 9:30. We have been using UHAUL trucks once a month for a couple of years. We are on a time constraint. Next month I guess I will have to confirm the night before. Not a happy experience this month!Michael C.
