I had made my reservation and received all my info (for months) at a convenient location near my home. Never did uhaul say that my pickup location could potentially be somewhere else. It turned about that on the day of my pickup, I learned that the truck was 15 miles away. This disrupted my plans. Why didn't uhaul work to have the truck at my local spot?

Professional and friendly staff. Very accommodating.
First: Be open and honest about the condition of the vehicle they will be renting. Second: If there is a problem with the truck please let them know. especially if the vehicle has no air conditioning in the truck, and they plan to hire people to do an extensive moving project. And especially if the temperature feels like 100 degrees and they may possibly be impacted negatively healthwise, of the conditions that they find themselves due to non-disclosure.
My service was horrible the service was horrible I had to wait an hour before I could get the truck it wasn't ready when I got there then after I came back the second time the man made me wait an hour before I even got the truck because he wanted to know what it my information from me the person that was the two people that was with me he wanted information from them before he would even give me the truck then when I came back to bring the truck to them I had to wait an hour before I can get my refund back from off the truck the whole thing was terrible I would not recommend them to anyone0
No one explained that I had to do some type of video or picture then when I took the teuck baxk tge same day the people were there closing the store when I returned the truck and told me to drop the key in thw drop box but then when I checked my email tonight they lied and said I didnt refurn the truck until Monday so now I have to do a dispute with this location
They made me wait while they waited on customers buying from the store, even though I was there first, the man was a tad rude, however on returning it, things were much smoother, and everyone was kind.
They are a total rip off. The charges new for miles I didn't drive, charged me for not filling the truck up to level I received truck at and I did. Accused me of leaving truck with garbage in the back when the garbage was in it when I got to my location. The worst experience I've ever had dealing with uhaul company. Will go to Penske from now on
The door was frozen shut. We didn't find this out until later and a mechanic had to be called. That guy said it was the fourth one that day! In the future the rental office should verify the door will open and functional.
This was a horrible location! I have never been so uncomfortable in all my dealings with uhaul!! The employee didn't know how to read a gas gauge which resulted in extra charges that were unnecessary. He treated his other customers very disrespectful!! I would suggest no one ever rent or return a vehicle here!!!!
there was dried feces smeared on the floor of the back of the uhaul that smelled. Also the inside of the uhaul was not clean

When I arrived to pick up the truck the agent did not have the reserved equipment. ( 2 furniture dolly's) They provided one and could not correct the bill to remove the charge for the one I did not get. The truck is in need of major repairs, bad breaks, low power, motor strained to get to 60 mph, to the point I was concerned to be driving it. When I arrived to return the truck the agent charged me for another days rental after he attempted to charge me $51.00 for a fuel charge of approx. 1/8th tank of gas. Instead of charging me for that amount I took the truck approx 3 blocks away and got gas well over the 1/8th tank that he claimed the tank was short. Long story short I will never rent from that agent again. Sadly enough he is only 3 blocks from my home and I intend to be renting monthly for my business.
This location is actually a convenience store in a very inconvenient location that happens to accept some U Haul returns. The person accepting the vehicle was reasonably welcoming, but he required me to go back to the vehicle and take a picture of the mileage with my phone and they kept my phone for 20 minutes while he sorted out issues with his computer and the processing of the return. He also kept interrupting the processing of the return to tend to other customers there to purchase items in the convenience store arm of the operation. Further, even though the information I was given as the pick was to return to this location, the attendant had me to talk to a person the phone at U Haul who claimed I as at the wrong location. I explained to the person on the phone that the papers I have say I am to return it to location I at and that I even called U Haul to confirm this. The person the phone then said that "there aren't any notes in the system to say that I called." I told him that he was suggesting that I was being dishonest and he replied to me that he was going to argue semantics. The guy on phone seems frustrated and angry. The whole experience felt clumsy, unprofessional, disconcerting, and error prone and I was very untrusting that it was processed correctly. There is a great deal of construction around the location making it difficult to drive through with a large truck and tow. And when you return the truck there is no clearly designated location to do so.
Several layer of communication difficulty. When I rented the car tow, the U-Haul website advised me to get my car inspected at a U Haul location to ensure it was okay to tow. I called this location and they were resistant to doing so and said it was up to me, but it wasn't necessary. When I got the tow and loaded my car, the front bumper was lower than the front end of the tow. In order to get the car out of the tow, I had to have a friend lift the front bumper so it cleared the tow and didn't get ripped off. Also, they were flippant at this location to inspecting the truck when they gave it to me. There wasn't guidance on fueling the vehicle. Lastly, the location for returning the vehicle they entered into the computer was different than the location on the papers provided to me. I called U Haul to clarify this and they said go with what was on the papers. When I got to the location for the return, they were upset that I wasn't where it said in the computer, even though the paper given to me clearly said to go there. They eventually begrudgingly accepted at the location I brought it to, but that wasn't without being accused of lying about having called U Haul to clarify because "there weren't any notes in the system". On a positive note, the truck ran well and I didn't have any issues with the actual truck.
I reserved a van in person but when I came to pick it up they tried to give me a van.

I reserved a 5x8 trailer and expected that and the costs associated, but when I arrived there was only a 6x12 so I had to pay more than I thought. Would have been nice if someone told me that was going to happen so I could have reserved at another location if I wanted to.

Ensure that the truck is cleaned. Both front cabin area and rear of truck. Truck was layered with mud, and needed major attention for cleaning.
