I tried to call the help number at 8;15 when no one was at the desk to help complete my reservation. The U-Haul representative arrived at the office at 8:20 in the morning while I was on the phone with your customer service. There was also another customer waiting for information. I will not book another rental at this location.

The vehicles look OK. The app was decent but there were misspellings/poor wording in the app that caused some confusion on how to check the vehicle out (and also return) with my cell phone. Must be some careless industrial design in the app. I give it a 7/10. The location was quite grungy (filthy) and the attendant obviously was busy doing something else rather than Uhaul. Maybe this was the intent. Therefore, the customer service was substandard. Also the attendant did not get my receipt emailed to me properly and I had to contact Uhaul to send it (another flaw in the app ?). I find the complaint of poor customer service and unkempt establishments by customers on most Uhaul locations in my Southwest VA area (there are a number). The customer in line before me complained of sub-par customer service as well. Poor customer service and unkempt (somewhat scary) establishments. I wonder if this is the best Uhaul can do in picking rental establishments. If so it is a shame and may begin to erode Uhaul business and reputation over time. However, I suppose now Uhaul has a monopoly and there is no concern, but someone may come up like UBER and provide troublesome competition. I'm on the fence about using one of these establishment in my area again. Pricing is not great but reasonable.

It took us several times to get through in order to rent a truck. In fact the field Manager had to contact the business owner on their personal cell to make them answer our call. The business owners voice mail was full too. I understood from another Uhaul location that they are constantly getting complaints from customers coming to them because the dent answer his phone. business owner. Uhaul has a good Customer service history and I would think it is time to drop this business owner. He is not serving your customers.

Guy never showed up, then was late when he told. Me where to. Meet him and then Didn't show then, gave me a lock code. Worthless.

No one available during business hours to set up the rental - We had to call and wait 15 minutes. Sponsor could not provide a receipt for the rental but said he would e-mail it - This did not happen. We called to make sure someone was available for the vehicle return when it was due but was told he would not be available but would not charge for a later return. We did return the vehicle at the scheduled time but held the key. Each time we called, the call went to voicemail - The voicemail was full and could not leave a message. When we finally got an answer after numerous calls, we were told he would be at the return location at 12:45 pm. We had to wait over an hour for him to show up. HE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR ANY OF HIS ACTIONS,LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY, OR HIS LACK OF RESPECT FOR OUR TIME.

There was no one there when I dropped it off. Also I had to call the guy when I got there so that he knew that I was actually there. His phone number was tapped onto the door and I just had to call it to let him know I was there.

I could not get help from the Pick Up Location. I was given a different truck than what was assigned to me from the app. I did the whole scratch/dent check on one truck, and when finally given the key, I had to go over to a different truck. Again, called the location several times and never talked to anyone, and this was during business hours.

The checkout office area was completely unkept. There was trash everywhere, inside and out. What struck me the most was that there were customer receipts with sensitive personal info on a table with Uhaul pamphlets and other Uhaul info. Very nice representative but the grounds and lack of sensitive information was unacceptable.

Very rude when I tried to cal. Hang up on me, than wouldn’t answer my calls. I had questions about the drop off, since it was my first time and they made me feel unwanted. Had to call customer service in order to know what I was suppose to do. Location was very crowded and disorganized. Mean rude people there.

While the location was fine I will never understand how U-Haul makes you go through the process online of choosing a pick up location and a drop off location as well as putting in your payment information etc. ALL FOR NOTHING! I went through and picked a trailer based on location that was closest to me However the evening before I was told that I have to pick it up at a different location. I probably would’ve picked a different trailer had I known this. The new location was not convenient and not in a good section of town at all. The people there were very nice and I appreciate their help. My second problem came when we went to drop it off at the designated Drop off location that we had selected only to find out that they weren’t excepting drop all of that size. No one informed us of this and we were told to take it to another location over 10 miles away before I called to find out why. We have been traveling all day and the last thing we want to do is go on additional 20 miles round-trip out of our way. This was my drop off location. I made plans for return with plenty of time because their site said they closed at 5:00pm I returned the van at 3:30 pm. And no one was there. They were closed I returned the van with a half tank more fuel than when I picked it up with no compensation and was charged 11.53 for extra miles. I did not vary from the specific route I noted online. I do not understand why I was overcharged.

You scheduled me for pickup at a location that was not open on Sunday. He had to make special trip in and I had to pay my moving help an additional $100 due to the delay. The final bill is not correct as I did not receive the 24 blankets and I returned the trailer that day.

The employers at this location are not reliable. We had a 9:00 appointment and the business was scheduled to open at 9:00, but nobody arrived until 9:30 and then it was only because another customer called the employees cell phone to tell him we were waiting. When the employee did arrive he was rude and unhelpful. He seemed hungover or otherwise under the influence of something. He did not apologize for being late or talk to us at all aside from asking questions so that he could pull up our reservation and telling us where to sign. The location was trashy, with molded fast food cups sitting out and packing materials spread all over the floor. I would not return to that location for a uhaul pickup or for the company’s landscaping services.
