Check the vehicle COMPLETINGLY. That means everything. The van I rented had a low left rear tire. they just inflated it to the correct pressure without checking why the pressure was way below the correct pressure. I had to inflate the tire daily on my 3 day trip.

The first time I went to rent a truck I stood there for about 10 min while 3 employees worked on a register. Then they said the u haul portion was closed 5 min ago. My next visit was a bit better. When I picked the truck the lady was great

The trucks should be better inspected and all damage should be marked so people don't get surprised the next time they want to rent one and when they say they are giving you more days make sure they did so you don't get charged for extra days and have the head office call it a typo.

I don't have one complaint only great things to say! Wyatt did an outstanding job. My son called me and was stranded in Montana the car engine dead! At almost closing time Wyatt got me a car trailer hooked me up and sent me on my way. I was able to get my son and drive home in time to go to work in the morning! He is a keeper! Thanks Wyatt! Used gas chart as recommended by staff to refill gas and put in an extra gallon. However I was still for charged 1.9 gallons per their reading of the gauge. Dropped off after hours, guess I should have taken a picture of the gauge.

Nothing negative about my experience. The equipment was clean and in good working condition. Beth any at Ace have me exceptional service while training another associate.

I was charged a cleaning fee when I fully cleaned the truck...in fact it was swept 3 times by different people. I was charged for gas when I left it on full (photo for proof, time and date stamped). When I called to discuss the charges with the U-Haul representative at Ace Hardware the male I spoke with seemed irritated with my call, he was rude, short, and said that he was the one to clean it and said that it was full of straw. I didn't haul straw, I moved my personal belongings from one house to another. When I tried to discuss the fuel charge he was unwilling to listen to what I had to say. I asked him if I should call corporate and he said "go ahead" I asked for his name and he hung up on me. I will not use this U-Haul location again, in fact I may very well go with a completely different company all together. I have used U-Haul several times in the past and I have never been treated with such rude behavior.

The only possible drawback is while there is a dedicated "uhaul desk", the staff is the regular Ace team. If the store is busy, you have to wait for an associate in order to get the order handled. Nice folks and a large, accessible lot makes the truck rental/return convenient.

Came to pick up an enclosed trailer. Gentleman broke my converter. Finally left ace hardware and went to pick up my new washer and dryer in a hurry because the place I bought if from was closing soon. Got to the store, and went to open the trailer and the guy left the padlock on the trailer making it a wasted trip and waste of my money and time. I had to drive home and reschedule the pick up which cost me more money. Ridiculous. I would like my money back or a free rental in the future.

Let customers know about the $50.00 cleaning fee if you smoke in the vehichle. I assumed because there was an ashtray in the rig, it eas ok to smoke. Didn't even use the ashtray. Used my own butt bucket! AND, I thought the truck eas breaking down in Washington. Could not get a response from Your 1-800 number OR your U -Haul/Help site. Had a cat in the cab with me. Lost an hour of travel time. Had to call 911 to figure out what I was doing wrong. The truck seemed to be cutting out and jerking.
