Every thing great
This was my first experience with U-Haul and I was moving across the country...with my two cats. It could not have been a better experience. The truck was well-maintained and had the power necessary to get past slower vehicles and up hills. The pick-up and drop-off processes were easy. The guys I picked up from gave me a great tip on where to find affordable straps to secure the motorcycle I was towing, and the drop-off team member came out to meet me and start the return process while I was getting the bike off the trailer. He didn't wait. He came out and started the process and it got me out of there quickly. I'm not looking to move across the country again, but I will definitely go back to U-Haul if I ever need a truck again.
1. Truck we reserved was not available so got larger truck which was not my preference 2. Received call day before pickup changing truck and pick up location 3. Reserved appliance dolly was not available which made move extremely difficult
I would not recommend using Uhaul to any potential customers. I was charged for returning my truck let even though I turned it in early. I was charged for additional mileage because a Uhaul staff entered the wrong mileage in the system. When I called customer service, the first man laughed at me, the second lady had a attitude and threatened to hang up on me, and the manager was RUDE and had a attitude as if I was bothering him.
you charged me twice?! so i paid for 2 rental vans and only used one
It would have been helpful to have been explained the procedure to pick up truck beforehand. When I arrived, the shop was closed but with help of the (800) contact I was able procure truck.
Mobile app was absolutely terrible. Took way to long, asked me for a lease or passport. Wouldn't upload my pictures. I finally said screw it and went inside. Absolutely terrible rental experience due to this. Also, truck was dirty. Bugs all over window, someone's mask left inside, candy, chips inside. Pickup location had no outside garbage can. I will just rent from Penske again from now on.
We didn't meet anyone at this location, and left the truck in the parking lot. It seemed fine.

Have a better supply of this size trailer more available in Charlotte so one is not going all over town for something they reserved at one spot not where you end up going to pick up which is out of your away
I had lost the pin to my hitch, The store only had the entire hitch kit, so had to run to auto parts store to buy a new pin. It was close and not a big deal, but might be good to have a few on hand.

The location itself was fine, but we had to drive all over town to multiple different U-Haul locations due to lack of communication between the locations and with us. You have incorrect addresses online, and it's almost impossible to call the locations and get someone to talk to.
Location was closed. I just dropped the truck off and completed the online checklist.
I can't assess this location fairly because I used it for an after-hours drop-off of truck and trailer. It was convenient to where I live. However, I had outstanding customer service from the U-Haul phone representative when I had a problem online trying to complete the return. She was very responsive and happy to help. The issue was resolved quickly.
Everything was perfect! Paul and his dad run a great business
Made several calls to get drop off info. Machine said leave message will call back. No one has ever called back. No drop off instructions posted. Did not feel comfortable leaving in open lot unlocked. Had a key drop but trailers don't have keys. Anyone could have taken it and I would be responsible. Poor system.
We would like some kind of refund. There was a man sleeping in the UHaul when we went to pick it up. The interior smelled of cigarettes. The man was kind and exited promptly, but this is a security risk.
Have the right keys the first time... or second time... Clean the vehicle inside and out before renting it to me. Make it more clear on the 24 hour return that you have to be real close to the return facility (meaning.. how many feet of the office or Truck???? Basically more clarity on the return processes...
The guy that runs that pace, I believe Paul, is his name, Is the height of a gentleman. understanding, accommodating, professional...the whole package. You couldn't put a better face on your brand.
Customer service representative must be well informed and trained in using the computer system.
