My experience was horrible. I am a single woman moving out of state. Durring my first hour with the van it would not start up. They sent out a service provider that took 4 hours to get there. Only to tell me it's the key and that I would need a locksmith. By this time was 9:30pm and I had to let go of the people that I had to help me move. They then said it would take another hour for the locksmith to come. I had been exhausted from moving all day and asked if he can come tomorrow. He came and it took another 3 hours to get a key made. I had to pay another person to help me that following day and it set my trip back a whole mother day. I paid for the day and time that I had it but I do not think I should have had to pay for anything. The whole thing should have been free as a result of this huge inconvenience and me loosing another day and additional money. I will say the customer service team was impeccable.

Moving us already stressful and this pick up added extra, unnecessary stress. I came to this location, which is an office building. The business was closed. I called the number, no one picked up, I left a message. A few minutes later a lady called me and said she works from home. She went about helping my get the key out of the locked box. When I got the truck it was on empty, the warning light for less than 25 miles was on. She said I needed to get gas right away. The furniture pads I had paid for were not in the truck. She said she doesn't have furniture pads and will tell me where to go to pick it up. I asked her to text me the address. I went to the address and it was someone's home. I called her again and I said, "am I supposed to go knock on this door?" She said she gave me the wrong address and she sent me a text with a different address. I went to this location which was less than a mile from her. It was a huge Uhaul location with all the amenities and all sorts of trucks. To be clear I had picked a different location and Uhaul redirected me to the one that is not a legitimate store. I don't understand why Uhaul would direct me to go to a place where the person works from home and doesn't have anything aside from 3 trucks in the parking lot instead of the huge nice location less than a mile away. I will make sure next time to check and recheck the location they have redirected me to and will definitely not go to this location. It added a lot of undue stress to my day.
