Location needs more than one register/ customer service rep. 3 people in front of me when I picked up vehicle and 3 in line when I returned causing long wait time. The gentleman was at register was very pleasant and helpful

When I got there no central air, very hot. The customer before me wife came inside said how hot the place were. I was charged extra for fuel when I put gas in before I brought it back.

The person I dealt with when I brought back the van would not look me in the eye or speak to me. He gave me no instructions on if I needed to go back in, no receipt, no communication. So rude. I asked what I needed to do and he just told me ‘nothing’. No thank you, no have a nice day. I work in the service industry and I would absolutely not be allowed to act like this to customers.

Overall a good experience. Location staff were helpful. The pickup truck and car carrier functioned well, but the truck exterior could have been cleaner.

The service my wife and myself received at check out and return was excellent. I take issue with the inside of your center being hotter than the outside. It had to be 100 degrees inside. I watched 3 customers walk out because of the heat. I felt sorry for your staff. This is very disappointing being the status U Haul holds in the community. I hope this issue is corrected soon before you have a heat casualty. I repeat your staff was excellent.

Picking up the equipment was a breeze. The gentleman working behind the desk was very nice and friendly. Dropping off the truck was awful. I was never greeted. I went inside and was informed that I had to go back outside and someone would be with me. I had to wait forever and then the guy (outside who saw me pull in) helped a lady who got there about ten minutes after me before I was helped.

Charged for fuel and it was where i brought it back if not slightly to the left by an inch. Don't think I should have been charged $6 for that when it was MAYBE a gallon needed to be added that was under estimated on my part. By the way a gallon is $3 but overall it was a nice, clean and efficient ride.

It was hot as Hades in the pickup center. I felt so sorry for the poor guy who was manning it. The a/c was not working, and it was hotter inside than the 90 degree weather outside. Still, the guy who assisted me was very cordial and helpful. He should not have had to work in such conditions.

My U-Haul experience was a good one. I thought the price per mile was a bit high, though. I'm glad the Uptown Charlotte U-Haul crew was understanding when I turned in the truck a bit late (stuff happens, you know) and didn't charge me the expensive holding fee. Or else, my experience would have felt much different.

Staff, facilities, and equipment were all great at pickup. But dropping off after hours we got swarmed by homeless people trying to “help” and asking for money, making the drop-off more complicated and stressful than it needed to be after a long and tiring day of moving.

I can't get an answer on why my bill was $20 more than expected. I returned the truck full!!!!! I was told 79 cent a mile but was charged 99 cent a mile. The building has no AIR CONDITIONING!!!!

A/C had been out in the office for over 2 weeks and it was inhumanly HOT in there. The woman working was very nice and helpful but I’m not sure how she could stand working under those conditions. I’m sure a portable AC unit could have been brought in for her! SHAME ON YOU U-HAUL!

I have used this location twice in three years. My first visit there, a truck was not ready for me that I had reserved ....took over 30 minutes for them to bring one from another location. I picked this location again because it was only 2 miles from my move. I checked in online beforehand and it still took a long time due to some technical difficulties with their payment system. I had 30 minutes until movers came to my house. They seem to be shortstaffed and the AC was broken....July! They said it had been broken for two weeks. There was never even an apology for the conditions of this business.

Good experience overall. Was a little disappointed when a rep called to give me a new pick up location, then said he was applying a 10% discount (about $49) then it wasn't applied when my husband picked up the truck. Besides that, it was nice.

Customer service was very poor. I use U-Haul often and unfortunately do not get the service one would expect. One time I was returning the U-Haul 10 minutes before closed and the man told me I had to pay for an extra day because I was supposed to be there 30 minutes before closing. That was just lazy employees.

I returned my truck at approximately 4pm on Sunday, July 1st. The return location was so crowded, I couldn't even pull into the parking lot. I eventually found a spot at the side of the building. The lady at the counter told me to go outside & find the guy who was checking people in. I walked around and couldn't find anyone. I went back inside and told her that nobody was out there. She told me to just leave the key in the truck and they'd check it in. On Monday, July 2nd I received my final statement, showing that they didn't check the truck in until 12:43pm that day - and I was billed $40 for an extra day! I have repeatedly called Customer Service, and cannot get anyone to answer, after holding for a very long time....
