You customer service sucks... I called to reserve a truck with A ball an got the run around by ur customer service people took me over an hour half to get a real answer then got sent to s uhaul that was 30 miles out of an was told I would have to pay more for a truck with a hitch or I would have to bring my own then I was asked to hold on several timevjust to be past on to another customer rep after anther rep was told that the Knox abbot dr location did not have a truck with a ball hitch so they said they had one on two notch out in spring valley an I had to go there to pick it up wasask to hold on again just to be transferred to yet another costumer service lady for her to tell me that they did have a truck at the Knox Abbott location an I could go pick it up there an that she had no idea why they would do that to me so they passed me around o. The phone for an hour an a half before I could even go get a truck that was ten miniuts away from me y'all custermer service sucks an uhaul owes me a discount for being put thru all that bs

After my first reservation was made inaccurately to the first Uhaul(Moving & Storage of W Columbia) (They put us going to Atlanta instead of Augusta). Then the first store, the gentleman was somewhat rude. When the lady right next to us talked to a gentleman about a military discount, I asked the rep that I was talking to about it and he said "it varies from person to person whether they want to give a military discount". I was upset. Then they didn't have the 10 ft truck that had been reserved because they had it as available in the system, but some how had lost the keys. So then he had to transfer us to a store further away from where we originally made the reservation which caused our time schedule to be very disrupted to say the least. Not the greatest place. Especially when he said he didn't have anything available, when there were around 7 10 ft trucks in the parking lot amongst numerous amount of other size vehicles bigger then a 10ft truck there in the lot. We found him to be not helpful in the slightest and caused us to change a lot of plans for us to get stuff moved and having us to change all the help we lined up at the drop off point in Augusta.

This has been typical for this experience. The pickup location wasn't in Cayce, SC but Waldorf, Maryland. This location called the day before pickup and said the trailer was ready for pickup. When I arrived, it wasn't there and wasn't sure when it would be available until much later that afternoon while I had arranged for movers to sit at my home and I had to pay. When I picked up the trailer, the u-haul system was down which again delayed my loading process. They didn't have 3 doz of blankets which I ordered a month in advance. Additionally, They didn't tell me my debit card had been charged twice. The next day I called them and they said, nothing I can do to correct and it will be resolved when I turn it back in Florida. Later I found out they were the only people who could release the $725 in my bank account. It took 3 weeks to get it straight.

the trailer had at some time had grease/oil on part of the wall (minor) but the floor had enough on it that I laid down a cover. It had not been swept clean. But with all that, the location and help from the facility was great.

Everything went very smoothly. The only thing I would like to comment on is the advertising you have. It says that the rental is $19.95 then in tiny letters you put that the miles are extra so at the end you end up paying $100 more or less. Obviously you rent the vehicle because your going to drive it. I suggest you just be more transparent instead of deceiving your customers making them think they will pay around $20.00 to rent a vehicle.
