Horrible experience! I reserved furniture pads ahead of time and when I arrived, they had given them away to the customer before me. Even though I had reserved them!! Then they charged me for a utility dolly even though I did not receive/use one. I noticed the charge as I was reviewing the bill when returning the truck. The guy at the counter was very rude but acknowledged that I had not received the products and then told me there was nothing that he could do and I would have to call U-Haul Customer Service. I called them and the lady on the phone was very incompetent and it took me about 20 minutes (or more) to request a refund. It has been several weeks now and I still have not received my refund. I am now on hold with them once again trying to get back the money that I am owed. NEVER using them again!!

Inlaws wanted to pay for extra days of our rental and milage. I was never asked how I wanted to pay. My card was ran with out my consent. Father in law had to drive out of his way to go to an ATM to give me the money to cover it so out account didn't go negative. This was a big inconvenience. Also I was told several different things about having extra miles added which never happened so I had to pay more.

The attendant was extremely rude he yelled at us to move the truck to a different location which we did he did the yelling in front of my two children then proceeded to through the pen at me when it was time to sign my receipt... it has made my experience with uhaul Avery poor one so much that I don’t believe I will ever use the company again... I totally understand stand some one having a bad day but it was extremely out of line and unacceptable...

Extended rental period by three days at 800 number. No one ever pointed out that the drop off time was critical and only spoke in terms of dates, telling that the period was extended until Tuesday. I dropped off less than two hours past the pick-up time of day and was charge a full extra day for that two hours. The agent said he could not change the online charges, while U-Haul customer service said the same and that he could waive the extra day. Someone was not correct.. The agent refused to help un-hitch the trailer, leaving the task to a 70- year old renter to perform. Very disrespectful and potentially injurious for someone 40 years older than he.

I think it's outrageous that you guys charged me $47 for an hour and a half of use of your equipment (a tow dolly.) You Definitely need to come up with a new system.

We were originally scheduled to pick up at the Canton Marietta Highway location- I had an e-mail confirmation showing this location. U-Haul changed the pick up spot and we did not know it. The customer service rep at Marietta Highway was late in opening the store, and was very rude to us. It turns out that U-Haul did send us a change, but it went into our spam folder. The change cost us time, and extra mileage, as the new location was not as close to our destination. We were very unhappy with the pick-up experience. The service at the new location was fine, but everything else associated with the pick up was a disaster.
