U-haul boasts fuel efficient trucks but none of the trucks I've driven have had cruise control. Cruise control reduces fuel spent and keeps the driver from needing to constantly adjust the pedal. Please get cruise control on your trucks.

1. The truck shook like crazy when it got to 60 mph. The mirrors were useless as they rattled so much. The steering had so much play in it that it was hard to keep control. The truck should have been retired years ago. 2. The agent asked if we'd be driving more than 70 miles. We said no. He said, "Good! I won't have to charge you for mileage, then." Yet the bill includes mileage that is actually more than the rental fee we thought we were paying. 3. Every truck I've rented before has included moving blankets, straps, and sometimes even a dolly. We didn't get any of that and weren't even told none of that was included. Imagine or surprise? Conclusion: We actually cut our time short and chose to finish the smaller stuff over this next week as the whole experience with the truck was just too risky. We parked it early and won't be a return customer. We paid almost $100 for roughly half a day and put about $40 in the tank of that gas guzzling, poorly maintained moving truck. Never again!

The location was fine and the gentleman I worked with was very helpful. However, he had tons of problems with the computer when I was trying to check out so it took a LONG time to get out of there. I find this every time I rent from Uhaul. It needs to be faster and easier to rent from you guys!

I had requested near 64506 zip code and UHaul send me 30 mileas away. Person named "Paul" was rude on answering phone and said I should read manual and hook up the trailer myself. When i went there there was another person and he was very nice

When I picked up the equipment from Warrensburg, the person there told me I could drop the trailer off at either Cameron location. I dropped it off at the closest location from my destination (the other one was only a mile farther). When I got to Grand Ave location, I called the 800 number on my paperwork. The person explained to me that I was at the wrong location, but that they could transfer the drop off to the Grand Ave location. After she did that, I explained to her that Warrensburg told me that I could drop off at either location. The person on the phone proceeded to tell me that I should have read my contract. The contract wasn't specific, nor was I told that calling would instruct me on which location I was supposed to drop off at. The person in Warrensburg should have instructed me on this, but the person on the phone was rude. Acted like I was an idiot for not knowing the procedure. If you listen to the tape, I think you would find that she just kept hounding me on the contract. I know what the contract said, but it wasn't specific as to the reason I needed to call. I thought the call was just to let Uhaul know that I had dropped off the trailer. I have rented from Uhaul a lot, and this was the worst customer service I have received. The person I talked to wanted to scold instead of being helpful. I didn't appreciate.
