The drop-off time needs to be communicated instead of just letting the customer figure it out and then charging them for an extra day even though the equipment was turned in on the day it was supposed to be turned in on.

Horrible experience. I use uhaul all the time for my moving needs and this was by far the worst experience. The guys there were polite never rude HOWEVER! My truck was not there for my mobile pick up even though I checked in there was a line of 5 people so I asked the guy out front to just get my truck because it said I was checked in and I paid... nope nothing no truck... still waited left to drop off my kids to come back to no truck!! Then nobody was in the office a guy just looked at me so I had to call the branch manager then a guy from ace came to help me and check me in again?? I kept saying I was already checked in... then when I finally got my truck it wasn’t cleaned so he was nice enough to clean it and then I took it to my house a 26” to load with big furniture and the ramp didn’t work..!!! Called uhaul to complain they told me to call roadside assistance!!! What the heck!!! So anyway we FINALLY GOT the truck yay no ramp and then behold it decided to work when we practically fought with it to get it out!!! Ok top of that the movers we got from uhual didn’t respond SO I CALLED THEM TO CANCEL AND THEN THEY RESPONDED??? Still don’t have my money back....so I was already behind schedule because my truck wasn’t ready and I had to call roadside assistance to get my ramp fixed rather than them come look at it or anything WOWW!!! Truck was wobbly the whole time And I ordered furniture pads and a dolly and didn’t get it when I picked up my truck !!! Ok so then i call to say I was dropping it a little late which I was told was fine and I did that only 2 hours later.. next day my 147 bill went to 300!!!!! What the heck in reality I should have been compensated for not having my truck when I ordered it there I should have had a discount for a broken ramp but instead they charge me for the dolly I never got the furniture pads I never received and an extra day because they messed up!!!!!!!!!! Wooowwwwwwww what happened to uhaul I will not use you guys again and I expect some discount for a late truck broken ramp and being incorrectly charged !!!! I left a message to the number the manager told me to call for billing issues and have yet to respond I will bHorrible experience. they did not have our truck stock with what we ordered and truck was not well maintained. my husband was a truck driver for over 25 years and checked everything out before leaving. Thank god he did because truck needed oil. it also was not very clean inside.

Make sure employees are present. Me and another customer arrived a little before 0945. And no employee came into Uhaul office until 1000 hrs. Other Ace employees went looking after jotocong us present in office for over 5 minutes. Easy experience great customer service when agent present.

I ordered two dozen furniture pads, a dolly, and 26 foot truck. I was forced to drive 30minutes from Rosamond to cal city because they were the only place that had what I needed. I show up the day i move and they only have 5 pads. It was too late to go anywhere else for pads so i packed that night and moved the next day, unfortunately my belongings got scratched and damaged because I did not have enough pads. I did not get what was promised and was even forced to drive far from my home to a pick-up location because I was told that was the only place with everything. The lack of follow through was upsetting and instilled in me a lack of trust in the uhaul brand.

I will never be using U-Haul in my life again. This is not a company that keeps their promise. When I quoted the rental online, I was quoted $127 for the 20" moving van. On the day I picked it up, I was charged $247 for the same 20" moving van. That is a difference of $120. A very dramatic difference. I asked the Manager Linda, at the Cal City pick up place what made the difference and she advised me to call 1800 GO UHAUL and talk to a corporate representative. I have called that number and I always get place on hold without any answer. For sure I will not be using Uhaul ever again. I have prove of the quoted price and the actual price I was charged for. But have not been able to get a hold of any representative from U haul that can take care of it.

Made a reservation in for pickup in ridgecrest CA, was canceled and re routed to California city CA. I was given less then 24 hours heads up notice about this change. Very displeased and inconvenienced. Will not rent from uhaul again.
