Tire pressure low and windshield wipers not maintained for weather conditions. Location on Google maps does not line up by quite a bit. The pin lands on a neighboring truck lot. Consider placing directional signs further north. We were late for our pick up because we had such a hard time finding the location.
The office was closed. The location was covered in very deep mud and snow. It was the only vehicle drop off for the entire city of Calgary. The location is in the middle of a field that has only one way to enter.
I did not find any one on the desk at their office and I had to wait for 25 min.
I did mobile check in which made everything a lot faster but I had rented blankets, and a dolly, neither of which was in the truck, and when I called later to inquire about it, I was told they didn't have any at the time. Made our move a lot more difficult.

I had an unpleasant experience this time. My truck was not available at the location I reserved it from. I had to drive extra to pick up the other truck. The phone app didn't work. The system also was down at the new location and the poor guy at that location needed a remote help because of the system. I reserved a dolly and furniture pads so non where available. I declined the insurance in my reservation and found out it was included in the contract as a result of the change of booking. Then I received an email telling me that I didn't return the equipment even though I handed the keys to the nice lady as per the reservation. How can you ensure the above items are fixed so I use U-Haul again?!

Nothing! The muddy road getting to it is the only problem ! The lady there is more than wonderful! !
So our actual drop-off location was U-Haul Moving & Storage at Barlow Trail, but in my opinion all U-Haul locations are suffering from the same poor business model, which leads to TERRIBLE experiences for the customers! STAY AWAY! Find a local company! It will save you time and money. Our experience at U-Haul was incredibly painful, from a charge for a missing dolly that we returned in BC; to not being able to park our vehicle at the location that had been confirmed for us online in Alberta due to lack of capacity; to then being sent to a closed location in the middle of nowhere - literally down gravel country roads with no one around, no customer service reps, no local phone numbers to be able to speak to a real person; to multiple issues trying to store our stuff "for free" for a month, with very little understanding or help from the staff at the office (constant waits, zero helpful information on how to get into the locker, an access key that never worked, and a very painful checkout process); to almost being charged multiple times after we had moved out of storage (due to an automatic billing system in US dollars that is run by the international conglomerate, over which the local employees apparently have no control); honestly I could go on an on. The amount of time I spent online, on the phone, and physically visiting these out of town locations to try to deal with the multitude of headaches caused by U-Haul and it's employees is unbelievable. I will NEVER use them again. The local companies that appear to cost more at first glance will 100% serve you better and most likely cost you less in the end that this terrible and poorly run company. I am STILL trying to resolve the incorrect charge for the 'missing' dolly that we never took out of the store, which is now leading to further headaches as I deal with the international calling centre, leaving messages for the actual store reps, and now a collection notice from a creditor. So much unnecessary pain.
Great customer service. The people were great and very helpful. The location is very tight to get into and out of (although most are), but it was raining/snowing and the location became somewhat of a mud pit. Would have preferred a paved location. Not too bad to get to for me though
Great service at this Location!
Not professional at all. my appointment was for 9.00am and the lady arrived at 9.10am and told me and other 2 customers that we need to wait as she has to go through what was returned. 3 appointments at 9.00am with only one person to do the paperwork and hookups. I did the online check in to ensure I can get on the road asap but it took me over 45 mins to get a trailer which was in their yard.
it had ice rained and had to warm the vehicle up and then scrape the windows ourselves? At 1.47 a mile, this location is just a money grab. it's so far NE that it's over 20 miles just to get back to civilization! Cost me 60$ just to and from the location.
While the people were very nice, the building and computer system was decrepit, disorganized and functioned poorly. It was about 3 degrees outside and there were flies buzzing around inside. Made one wonder about the body under the floorboards :) Otherwise the people themselves were very hospitable and friendly.
Yes my son says this second location was fabulous, good customer service, courteous and professtional The original drop off point I believe was Dryden ? Well my son was not impressed for the offhanded manner that he was treated with But that second location which I think is listed above had a really good experience as stated first off Thank you again for helping with my sons and my move across Canada ??
Disorganized truck was supposed to be dropped off there but I had to take it way out in the boonies. The guy just handed me a piece of paper with an address on it andsaid take it here with no regard to my time or schedule
Charged for two dayz when there was internal errors and i was not told.
The location is bad. The trailers electrical was faulty and they had no replacement trailer or any way to fix electrical. I had to take the trailer without lights to a different location in the city to exchange for another trailer. The employee, however, was very helpful and calming. Since Uhaul screwed up and didn't have the trailer I wanted at the location I reserved, and wanted me to go to a different city to pick it up. After calling and being on hold for an hour, and having a disagreeable person helping me on the phone, we finally decided on a third location with yet a different type of trailer - this one with a roof - meaning I didn't need the tie downs that I had already paid for. I was told I would be refunded for these, as she didn't even have any tie downs to give me. She assumed they would have been sitting in location 1. But since the lights didn't work, I had to go to location 4!!!!

I had the worst, absolute worst experience with the u haul despatch. They did not make sure I was aware that they have changed my pickup location. Did not want to empathise when I told them that the new location is 35km away from the initial reservation spot and did not care about my needs whatsoever. I would never recommend this service to any of my friends. At one point it felt I was in India somewhere where people don't give a.... About nobody and no customer service. I can honestly say this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life.
Location at meridian did not have a truck even though I had reserved. 84st was able to help me out last minute. Truck fuel tank was damaged and was a fire hazard. The truck was. It safe to drive with leaking fuel

Great and proper customer service at the 84th Street RV Storage location. Its the first UHaul location which actually helped me to connect the trailer to my hitch, check the loadings and explain the right/wrong ways to connect chains. Thank you Kim!
