For starters you can have your people explain too the customer about one way drop offs, instead of just assuming I want to drive back to my pick up point. I tried to drop off the truck at my destination uhaul store and they inform me that I was not set up for one way drop off, that I'd have too drive it back to my pick up point or pay them $400.00. Well I drove it back, even though I didn't want too come back too this shithole of a town, not very happy. Coulda saved myself a couple of dollars if I was informed about the oneway/twoway thing. Also I never received my final itemized bill too see all the final charges, I just see my $242 credit card bill. If someone cane email my final bill I would appreciate it. And maybe some retraining for dealers, too inform customers on there options instead of assuming. The website could be a little more user friendly also, I needed the truck for more than day but the only option I got was 24 hours. Thanks for your time.

Customer service was terrible. I got no email to log in to set up after hours pick up to be able to pick up the rental truck. 3 Customer service reps was no help and one of them hung up on me to help other customers. really?? We didn’t get to pick up the truck for 12 hours later than anticipated because of customer service. Was way behind on our move

Location hard to find if unfamiliar, marked on a major road with a little sign. Hours sayed open at 8 a.m. except "on Wednesdays she doesn't come in til 9 (Had to leave and come back)." Otherwise they were friendly and helpful.

We did not realize until we were on the road at 6 am the following day after picking up the truck that the passenger side airbag was not on. One reason we rented 15' vx a 10' was that it had the airbag. We were traveling over 1,000 miles through the mountains and I wanted that airbag. We did not have the tool to turn it on (no button or switch). Thankfully, we were completely safe. But I was not happy that it wasn't checked before we picked up the truck.

Using the text and email to pick up the truck on a Sunday when the store is closed is a very poor system and not user friendly.

Rented a truck to take waste from in town to the dump-2 trips. Maybe 15 miles max. Found second set of charges on card more than the first. Called and they told me that I had driven 46 miles and that it was my duty to call them after I dropped the truck off to see if I owed additional charges. They never once contacted me to tell me that I owed more money than originally agreed on-yet they charged me $25 late fee on top of the $16. Cost me over $90 for their $20 truck rental

The cab of truck had fast food trash. The truck needs maintenance on the suspension. It road like an old log wagon on steel wheels. And made loud popping noises when turning. Trying to run 60 MPH on the highway the tires/steering vibrated badly such as a tire out of balance.

The 5x8 enclosed trailer I rented yesterday one of the trailer light wring was almost broke into prior to me using it. Lights still worked tho. Overall I give this Uhaul place an excellent review for customer service

The paper work and the lady both said that the gas tank was full, which it was not. It was on 3/4 tank. I only used 11 miles, and spent $24 to fill it back up! Gas is $2.54 a gallon, there’s no way I used 9.5 gallons of gas in such a small trip especially since I was in the green for MPG the whole time. What you could improve instead of just handing us paperwork and saying this is how much gas and etc is have the associate that rents the uhaul, go out and double check everything with the customer to verify everything.

Back door was iced shut, took me 20 minutes with hot water, a hammer and a chisel to get it open. Back right tires were VERY low on air. Inside duel was 40", outside was 18".

Would give them no stars if there was a option we rented a U-Haul trailer from here on Friday night at 4pm to move our daughter on Saturday, when we picked it up there was a light issue and the lights didn’t work we were told if we get pulled over just tell the police it was a fuse. Then my 10yr old son got really sick which led us to the ER and him having surgery Saturday morning I called as soon as they opened to let them know what was going on asked if we returned it right away could we possibly rent it another day for a discounted price with no sympathy was blunted told no. Then when my husband returned it and told Rich that we were going to post this review he said “turn about is fair play” Have lost our business and call has been placed to the cooperate.

I was called the day before my rental pick up and U-Haul said that my rental would not be there. I had made the reservation two weeks before and had the time off from my job already arranged. They offered the smaller truck at two different locations. Both added almost three hours longer, round trip, to my moving trip. We would have to do this with our personal car. We reached the new pick up point. They did not have our agreed rental either. They had to call a third location, even further away. So U-Haul cost me over 3 hours of my loading time. And my wife and me are the only ones doing the work. I asked U-Haul to pay for assistance to load and unload the rental, to make up time. I was quickly refused. This was the third time I have used U-Haul and I have always heard poor reviews from others. In the past, I defend U-Haul and share about my good experiences. U-Haul gave me a "free" trailer, but I was very concerned about making everything fit. It did work, but it it would not have worked, I would have needed to get another rental. Another 12+hours of making a second trip. Also, we would have missed our closing. I am really disappointed in your company.
