Reserved truck at drop-off location but truck was double booked by Uhaul. Called Uhaul AFM and they claimed that this was not Uhaul's fault when it clearly was. Spent 2 hours trying to get the correct truck and no concessions were made to right the wrong that Uhaul made. When you book a truck online, make sure a truck is available.

I made the reservation for the location 1/2 mile from my house then at 4:30 in the afternoon it was moved 10 miles south. Thats 20 extra miles I had to pay for and had to wait an extra hour. Had to go the Asheville and back and couldnt pick up the truck til 10:00 AM. Fun day, thanks!

This location was very clean and the facility well maintained. However, we experienced a few snags that might just be summed up as a "bad day." Nonetheless, I'd like to report them in hopes of process improvement on both Uhaul's and Premier Storage's part. The first problem was that our pick-up location was moved from Dacula to Buford. This required an extra half-hour of travel for me, which I was not happy about. This is the second time I have tried to rent a truck in Dacula and have been relocated to Buford. I do not like how Uhaul cannot guarantee a truck as a specific location. Uhaul should do more work to eliminate the issues that cause this problem. Premier Storage explained that the person before me extended the rental; however, they never offered me a different truck and I made the reservation so late in the day, I think they had not updated their system yet to reflect the correct available inventory. After we drove out the Buford, the office at Premier storage was in chaos. The one employee working could not print any receipts due to no printer ink, and at the same time the Uhaul site was not working. She has to photograph my license with her personal cell phone and discharge me with no contract in hand. Overall, this cost me close to an hour in extra time spent getting the truck. Needless to say, it was not an ideal experience all around. I can chalk the experience at Premier Storage to having a bad day, but I really don't like being moved out of the town from where I reserved the truck. That really bothers me. I realize there are inherent problems with predicting when people will return the truck, but I still believe there are other improvements that could be made to avoid this problem in the future. Facility is gorgeous, but does not make up for the disorganization, delays and late opening time. I went there for Richard Villaneuve's exceptional customer service, but I won't go back again if he is not there. I will return to the Buford location!!!

We were so thankful to find a cargo van since we had only one large piece of furniture to move which needed to be protected from the outside elements! No one else within 50 miles of us had a cargo van available. The ONLY complaint was who ever used the van before us must have been a chain smoker and the heavy smell of smoke caused some health difficulties for myself.

Your website has proven twice too be too hard for your franchise employees to work with. In Bloomingdale area in Florida in August of this year we rented a truck and the employee of the self storage unit had to get UHaul management on the phone to deal with rental contract problems with your site. The exact same thing happened in Bufford, GA which held us up 1.5 hours waiting for the panicked employee to try to figure it out with management on the phone. UHaul really needs to fix their software so that customers like me aren't having to waste time and aren't so aware of your problems.
