Van definitely wasn't clean. The cargo area looked as if it had been used to haul tree debris. I also have a total of three credit card holds showing for this transaction; two for the original estimate amount and one for the final price. Now I have to closely monitor the card to make sure only the appropriate charge goes through. Undue stress for your customer.

This is the most awful experience I've ever went through in using Uhaul. 1. The truck type I requested during reservation was not available, though I chose that location because it was being offered there. This was irritating becauseI know that with little stuff, things will fly around in that large truck I had no choice but using. 2. The man was on the phone speaking to someone the ENTIRE time during the transaction. 3. Mileage on the sheet of paper (I'm assuming was the contract?) did not match the car's mileage which is EXTREMELY problematic as I was charged extra. I brought this to his attention and he said it'll be fine. No. It wasn't fine, I was charged extra and I cant do anything about it. 4. I was charged 2 gallons for gas. I used less than 8 miles on that truck and there is NO way I could have used 2 gallons. I'm really troubled by the experience here. It felt helpless as this man was even on the phone when I arrived to return the car. I hope someone can really fix this problem. Because I'm inclined to really avoid Uhaul for this reason.

I have been overcharged in my recent transaction with U-Haul. I rented the truck to what I originally thought would be seven hours, instead we finished our exhaustive moving the next day. Next evening to be exact which was May 26th. The truck was returned to Washington Transmission, exactly in front of the business, with keys in the drop box. I was charged extra for the 27-28th. I would like for this matter to be correct and solved, but no one has contacted me back.

Very hard to find parking at the location. Had to parallel park in a very tight spot. Also the automated pickup was challenging — they needed to call someone to verify they were reachable. It was 7am on a Sunday morning... you have to tell customers about the verification requirement ahead of time so they can prepare.

This place is running some kind of scam. I rented a van from them a month ago and everything was paid upon return of the truck. Yesterday I received an email from u-haul saying I owed an additional $57, but there is nothing noted in my account saying what the amount is for. The email also said I had seven days to pay the amount before incurring a $30 late fee. However they charged my card for $96 on the same day the email was sent! I’m in the process of contacting my bank to cancel my card so they can’t keep charging me whenever they feel like doing it to line their pockets.

Do a walk through of the vehicle before hand. The one I rented had a busted light and think that could be used as an excuse to charge for a new one. Etc.

Horrendous experience. I was overcharged 200 miles ($400) and had to call and call and call again to provide evidence and then more evidence until I finally was able to convince a customer service case manager that I was telling the truth (had to provide photographs and toll receipts to belie a sloppy report made by the representative from whom I rented the Uhaul). Even then, they tried to offer me a Uhaul gift certificate. Had to call again and finally after an hour of reviewing the evidence for the 4th time someone ("michey" a wonderful rep) gave me the number of a regional manager. Absurd. Never again.

They didn't have the 15' truck I reserved to move my two-bedroom. I had to wait 20 minutes to get a 10' truck. I ended up having to make THREE trips with two hired hands from taskrabbit. That cost me 70/hr over the course of at least an extra hour for the move. They also gave me an appliance dolly instead of a normal one, so it was totally useless. Didn't realize that until I got home and the move was well underway. I had a 6 hour rental, and I still had things to move at the end. I had to return the truck. 3 pieces of furniture I've had for years are going on craigslist now because they have to out by Sunday and there's no way for me to get them out. This has been the worst moving experience I've ever had, and that says a lot.
