The only issue i have is that i rented the truck and the fuel was a little less the 3/4. I returned the fuel back the same way and i was charged $30 for fuel fee. I told the worker there that the fuel is a little less the 3/4 because i was physically sitting in the car and he was outside looking in and he couldn’t have had a better view then me. This is my third time renting a u-haul truck from this location and i would not rent there again for them charging me 30 for fuel. I even took a picture of the fuel when I? returned the car that evening.

Service was very inefficient the computers were not working the attendant was rude and preferred not to be ask anything. Also the time to be attended to was way to long when I return the vehicle. The reservation gave one set of information and at the point of sale everything was different. It was just horrible.

There was a problem with your credit card machine and I heard this often happens from your associates. Please check out the credit card/computer system at that location. The staff are all very professional and helpful to customers and can deal with any glitches that come up. At first, our cargo van was listed at another location. It sounded like another computer glitch. Thanks to your excellent staff, everything was resolved quickly. Checking in and returning the vehicle went very smoothly. Curtis helped with pickup. I'm not sure of the name of the woman who helped us with returning the vehicle, but she was great also! Good convenient site. Excellent customer service.

yea - of all the locations I have ever been to - this one is the best. When I couldn't make a reservation there cause they were too booked up, I was really sad. I waited and tried again the next day and voila. So pleased.

This particular U-Haul experience was HORRIBLE. I reserved a truck at the Broadway location only to be told that my truck was at a second location (10701 - I think). Upon arriving there, I was informed that there were no more trucks available and that I would have to go to another location (Kings Hwy). So after 2 uber rides (which UHaul isn't paying for, though they caused), I end up at a third store where I'm finally able to pick up a truck. I get lost getting back home so many times, I end up missing an appointment...all because I had to go to multiple locations and ended up getting a truck further out than expected. In the past, I have always used UHaul: when helping my girlfriend and sisters move, from PA-OH, OH-AL,AL-TX, TX-MA, DC-FL, FL-NY and so many other mini-moves. This is the first time I'm really dissatisfied with the service. Next time, fix the iPhone app: if someone reserves a truck at a location, honor it or get the truck to them; don't inconvenience them by having them go to two other locations. Get a proper setup in the store so that customers can line up appropriately. The space looks disorganized and results in inconsistent/haphazard line formations.

The agent that got me sorted out was great. She was very patient and professional. The reason I was disappointed is because, she was on the register by herself. I had a 6pm reservation and wasn't seen until a little after 7pm. That was ridiculous. It clearly wasn't her fault. But she maintained her composure despite the disgruntled patrons waiting. There is no reason why, she shouldn't have help. The wait cut into my packing time, and having to get to my storage unit which was closing soon.

I would say from my experience with the owner, Wendy, as her name tag stated, there is a lack of integrity or perhaps good business practice. Case in point-I made my reservation at Uhaul on 23rd Street & 12th Ave... the friendly and gentleman, Paris, was very helpful. He told me for the reservation I have up to 24-hour to return the vehicle. When I went to pick up the rsvp-ED truck- after 12pm. ‘The owner’ asked me when will I be returning it, I told her let’s go with 10am. Before I finaled the tranaction, I asked to changed the time to the same time I’m picking up for tomorrow —12:30pm. She stated I can’t do that because I already told her 10am. She also state (with a smirk) that’s its no longer avail at 11pm. I then stated what I was told by Uhaul in Manhattan of having up 24-hours to rent the vehicle. Wendy turns around looks at the rates posted on the wall for customers to see and said to me, “I don’t see anything that states anything about 24-hours; where do you see anything posted about 24-hours?” She dismissed and disregard my statement that I mad my reservations in the city and the Uhaul there said I had up to 24 hours to rerun the vehicle ... Shady business practice. Never again! I don’t like neither does anyone like to feel as they are been deceived, or hustled. Never will I patronize this black-owned business. Wendy knew exactly what she was doing. However, you will never find this location under U-haul official site unless you know to typed in ‘U-Haul Flatbush’ (it’s located on Kings Hwy) As I was waiting to finalize my transaction I notice her tell a customer could she get a different item to purchase because the item she wanted she couldn’t find in the computer to ring up... seriously! You can’t but it because we don’t have a price.. wow! U-Haul, is this how you run your franchises? Yes this left a bad taste in my mouth with U-Haul Flatbush location.

Before I booked, I called to confirm that i could use 2 separate cards to make payment. I was told that I could so I made the reservation. Sure enough, when I went to pay the cards "weren't working". Spent a half hour trying to pay and then they put 4 holds on my credit card and were surprised that it didn't go through then refused to remove the holds so that I could clear things up with my credit card company. Service rep on the phone was very nasty. Would not recommend, terrible experience for something that should be so easy.

Booked a 20ft truck on 4th avenue Brooklyn. Was told the day before to go someone else (far) to get a 26fter. On premise in the building and outside the staff was very rude, not willing to help, not even saying hi. Gas level was 1/4 even though they put 1/2 on contract. When I made a comment the employee made a note with a pen on the contract without reissuing a new one. I felt pressure to get out of the place as soon as possible. Also got asked by different people many times if I wanted help with my move. Just didn’t feel comfortable as people were moving around my truck. Just not a pleasant experience overall. I will not go back.
