Raven the staff member at this location was very helpful in assisting me with the van rental. The location was perfect for me , very close to major public transportation and the Long Island Rail. Will definitely use this location again when in Brooklyn and recommend to a friend.

Super efficient checkin and check out. The guys at the garage saw me from earlier in the day and stopped me from putting the key in the drop box and got me checked in right away. Great experience

Have a streamlined system that locations can use. Not only was the system down but the person to check people in was not present so I had to change my reservation. Then, I had walk back and forth a very long walk to be checked into the vehicle. Also was charged for something I was not provided. Will be calling to correct final total.

I was told I could drop the truck off at any U-Haul in Brooklyn. When I called to confirm I was told I had to drop it off almost an hr away from where I was. To make matters worse we dropped it off the SAME NIGHT AT 11:30 pm! And we were charged an extra $40 plus tax! Stating we didn’t return it for two days! When we brought it the very same night!

The pickup was a nightmare. Our keys weren’t available and when we called costumer service and spoke to a representative in a calm manner, she hung up on us while trying to explain our situation. This location is too unclear and uneasy to navigate-we lost an hour of our day.

If I would of knew ahead of time that I had to self check out would of been nice to know. Cause I didn't have my cell phone on me just my reservation number. I had to go get my phone to get the truck.

I was very disappointed with the service. I arrived at the pick-up location at 9:50am, 10 minutes before my rental reservation time of 10am to start the on-line check-in. I had several issues with U-Haul online including the fact that the system would not complete the check-in process. This location is not staffed on weekends so the site prompted me to contact the location manager who did not pick-up or return my call. My chat inquiry on the website did not result in a response either. I then spoke with customer service who was unable to help other than to tell me with uncertainty to just start using the van and figure it out later. This all happened in the very cold weather outside, under the train overpass, while going back and forth twice from the parked U-Haul van (parked about 500 feet away) to the Autobody shop. Needless to say, this was a miserable experience that took over 1 hour until my finally receiving the key from the Autobody shop employee. I was able to finally access the car at 10:55am. After the rental was complete, I saw on the invoice that I was charged 2 rental charges, because the system did not correctly display my actual rental start time of 10:55am due to the fault of U-Haul. U-Haul should be able to pull my customer service call records to verify this. Considering the inconvenience U-Haul caused including that the move-out time scheduled with my previous apartment was significantly reduced, should result in a refund of the rental rate rather than double charge. I would like to ask you to consider this refund and please get back to me. Thank you, Danielle

I’ve been using uhaul for YEARS and have NEVER had an experience like the one I had today! This place no longer needs to be affiliated with the uhaul franchise as it is doing a major disservice to the franchise. Michelle is the name of the woman who assisted me today in picking up and dropping off my rental. From the moment I arrived it was unclear where to go or what to do. I found the office by mistake. Upon meeting Michelle she was nasty, rude and raised her voice at me aggressively when I asked her to repeat herself. She acted as if I was interrupting her and not there to be serviced as I’m giving them money by giving them my business. Upon returning the car my mileage was at 2,504. I had parked the vehicle in front of the business because there was no parking available. She forced me to find parking even though it shouldn’t have been my responsiblility. Because of this I had to drive an extra mile around the neighborhood to find parking. When i brought this to her attention she sighed heavy and rolled her eyes, ignored me and charged the extra mile anyway. This place is disgusting, floor are making wood and tiles so unusual can see the concrete foundation. It’s packed full of junk and trash as if it’s abandon. And to make it all worse the service is completely awful! I would NEVER recommend uhaul to anyone based off this experience. That woman needs to be talked to about customer service and they need to represent the brand correctly.

In order to get to the rental counter, I had to go through the garage and slide past several closely-parked vehicles. It was not a very welcoming entrance. The service was fine, however, and the van was clean and well-maintained.
