There was some confusion with the after hours pick up but the gas station attendant was able to find the keys for my after hours pick up. Nice guy.

1) This location did not have the two hand trucks requested. I ended up with two utility dollies, which were both more expensive and more difficult to maneuver. This made the move tremendously more difficult. 2) Despite explicitly telling the U-Haul dealer that I am declining the insurance coverage, I was still charged $16 for the Safe-Move insurance. This is aggravating because I took the time to decline coverage and to explain why. To sneak in the additional charge into my rental contract is unethical. 3) Despite broom-sweeping the truck after use and before returning, and photographing the spotless condition of the truck for evidence, I was charged a $17 cleaning fee. Do not rent from this location. Enterprise has outstanding customer service and ethical dealers. Do not rent from U-Haul, I won't rent from U-Haul again.

Make sure there are enough vans! I had made a reservation for a van, but when I went to pick it up, I was told that the van was still out and it was not returned yet. Instead I had to rent a small truck just for moving a few household items

I believe this establishment is stealing from its customers. Their computers are showing a totally different information (mileage, fuel gauge etc..) from what is actually in the vehicle.

Staff were nice and friendly. However: clean the vans between uses. The cargo van bed was filthy and got marks on our white bookshelf, and the cab smelled of old food and cigarettes and had visible dirt everywhere.

I did not the get the dolly I requested, and although I was reimbursed for it, I find that the inconvenience was enormous, given that I had to pay a random person to help me move the materials I needed moving.

I RESERVED A DOLLY WITH MY RESERVATION, BUT WHEN I WENT TO PICKED UP MY TRUCK THERE WAS NO DOLLY. THE MANAGER OF THE SITE STATED THEY WERE OUT DUE TO OVER BOOKING! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! THEN THEY WANTED ME TO DRIVE 25 TO 30 MINUTES OUT OF MY WAY TO PICK UP A DOLLY, BUT I HAD TO USE THE MILES ON THE TRUCK AT A DOLLAR 1.99 PER MILE!!!!!

The equipment I rented tail light was out I had to take the equipment to another uhaul facility to get fixed. Then this particular location was filthy.

The van was disgusting and beat up. I had to sweep it myself. There was a long wait for pick up and drop off. Bad expierence overall for a location that should have a more reliable routine by now.

It has nothing to do with this location but I had a schedule pickup at the Bensonhurst UHAUL location. The person working the desk on that Thursday morning was AWFUL. She was absolutely terrible. Bensonhurst location....She told me they had sent me a text and email that the location had been changed. I RECEIVED THE TEXT AND EMAIL AS SHE WAS AT HER COMPUTER, so I am under the impression she changed my reservation on me for NO REASON. I was extremely upset. I also think it is absolutely embarrassing I could not return 7 UHAUL boxes I had purchased but NOT used at any of the 3 UHAUL locations I was at. I am still waiting for a $22.00 credit.

I had pre-checked in for my truck but when I arrived at the pickup location I had to go through the entire check in process. The entire pick up took about 45Min. instead of 5.

This location was so-so. They didn't have the 15' truck that I'd reserved (someone didn't return it the night before), but they were able to get me a 20' truck pretty quickly at no additional cost. I also reserved 12 furniture pads, but when I arrived they only had 2. They let me use them free of charge, which was nice. They were not picky about things like multiple drivers, cleaning the truck, or checking for damages. Also, they tried to charge me for insurance, without saying anything, even though I had specified in my reservation that I did not want the insurance. Overall, I would recommend it because I don't think there are many better options in the area, but it's definitely not the best experience I've ever had with a rental truck.

Renting a uhaul from this location was the worst experience I have ever uncounted with uhaul first the truck was not there when I went to go pick up the truck then I when I went back later on that day to see if the truck was there. There was a truck there not the size truck I ordered the truck was dirty and unkept .then when my mother return the truck the same day I rented the truck they email me a receipt over charging saying that she renturn the truck the next day. Never again unless I necessarily have use uhaul I will never use them again.

My original location reserved at Sherman Parking Management was awful and my overall frustrating and more expensive experience stemmed from that. I made a reservation weeks in advance through the website at a location near my home to keep costs low. Upon arrival at the pickup location, the clerk let me know they didn't have any trucks and I would have to go somewhere else. The closest one found that had an available truck was a $15 Uber ride away and much further from my home and storage unit, increasing the overall truck mileage driven. I also had friends waiting outside my home while I was delayed for an hour with the truck hassle. This inconvenienced multiple people who have been customers and were appalled this would happen, especially without an upfront offer to compensate for getting to the new truck or the overall rental. I have receipts for the uber rides to the second Uhaul location (I was able to walk to and from the original one I reserved) and am asking to be comped for both these and at least the extra truck mileage driven, although as a business person myself understanding the importance of good customer experience, I would like to have this rental comped.

Signs could be much more clear and it would be helpful if there were some way to verify who actually works for uhaul. A guy just came up to me and took my keys and didn't ask to see my contract or sign anything, which was a bit confusing.
