I put in my order for in town move. I went to pick up-No truck! I had to go 10 miles both ways & I had to pay the mileage, an extra $20. My in town move was only 2 or 3 miles. Since I had to make the move that day, I could not cancel & go with another company. I was quite upset!

We were very pleased with the Brooklyn location. However, we initially were told to pick up the truck in Franklin. No one was at the location at the agreed upon time. Customer service rep handled the situation graciously and re-routed us to Brooklyn, taking us 25 miles plus further away. Very inconvenient, especially since a snowstorm was coming and we had been planning around it. Hopefully compensation for additional miles and inconvenience will be forthcoming.

This tire pressure monitor system wasn't working and it said it needed an oil change before I even left the parking lot. All worked well for my trip and the van was comfortable.

This guy Joe at Brooklyn motors was great he did everything right and even tried to help me with my complaints to the best of his ability.. He called a uhaul rep and handled what he could on his end. Unfortunately I still have to wait for the answer to the rest of my complaint having nothing to do with Joe...

Customer service was poor from the start. When I got to the location the person who does the rentals was not on site. There were two women there who could not help me. The older woman was not rude, but at the same time not helpful at all. The younger woman was very unprofessional, when I asked her if she could help me she said "no, the guy that can do that is not here, so 'just wait'" I was shocked about the way I was told "just wait". She was rude. Then she proceeded to go to the other woman and talk about her new boyfriend and that he was the reason that she got fired from her job at Sally's ( Salvation Army apparently). This younger girl has no idea how to work with the public. The man that eventually helped me was better than the women but could still be educated on being polite and courteous.

dropoff 11-26 at 3:48 Brooklyn motor sports that was supposed to be open till 5 and person inside would not unlock the door returned truck with the amount of gas we left with but nope got charged extra $27.50 to fill after putting $30.00 in half mile from drop off

Apparently the equipment wasn't "clean" because I returned the truck in the same condition it was in when I picked it up and was charged a $25.00 "cleaning" fee. I wonder how many other customers are charged this fee?

Engine light on shifter sloppy brakes making noise truck walked 'all over rd while driving.truck . charged 1 extra day rental being on time but sales associate busy with another customer (NOT GOOD) RYDER HAS MY BUSINESS FOR NOW ON.

When I first tried to unlock the truck the key fob did not work. The attendant then tried and ultimately had to turn on the electronics to get the power locks to work. Upon starting the truck there was and error light and The TPMS light were both on. As I pulled away the attendant said " Good Luck" and it gave me a funny feeling. 10 miles up the road the truck slowed down to 9mph and error popped "Service vehicle now". After turning the electronics off and on the truck started and ran fine. I drove back to NJ with no issues, unloaded my cargo and a few hours later I hit the road to drop off the truck. 10 Miles down the road the truck did the same thing as the first time. This time the same thing fixed it. The final time this happened was on the up-span of the Tappan Zee Bridge. This time shutting it off and on did not fix it. I was now a sitting duck doing 9mph in the right lane where cars were just missing hitting me doing 80mph. A trouper on the opposite side of the bridge noticed I was in distress and dispatched a safety vehicle to follow me off the bridge. Until this time I was in serious peril of being hit by speeding drivers. 10 minutes later I was safely off the bridge.
