Said the U-Haul wasn’t cleaned I used for 50 miles. He reported I drove 109 miles when my destination was one way and 50 miles away.

The 800 UHaul number which makes the reservations needs to be clear on if this has to be a round trip rental, or can be changed to a one-way. I was told the "best option" would be round trip, but when I needed to change it to one way, I was told the van had to be returned to Brookings. This was not the fault of the owner of Brookings UHaul, he was very cooperative. I hired a person to fly to Lansing, and paid his expenses and an hourly rate to drive it back to South Dakota.

The drop off location was to be manned until 4pm on Sunday Sept 2nd. We dropped off the rental at 340pm after calling the 800 number. No one was there, again, not a happy customer.

Over Billed. Billed for 50 miles and used only 20 mines. I have taken picture of odometer before renting and have final reading picture. Professional representative at location told me not to fuel up as I will be using in town only.

My brothers coordinated truck delivery, but I would have heard ?? if there were issues. One said there may be some relevant paperwork in locked truck console, fyi. It was interesting how many U-hauls we encountered on our 5hr trip! Keep up the good work!!

No one was there and no signage on door. Stop should be more communicative on what to do. The uhaul on line service did not work. Signage signage signage, especially when you are not there during the hours the business hours listed

I need to contact someone about the U-Haul bill I just received. I spent nearly 35 minutes on the phone last night, and nearly 20 minutes on U-Haul chat the night before – when I got to the U-Haul location at Dakota Mini Storage on Tuesday night at 6:45 to pick up the U-Haul and then drove it home to start loading it, there were no moving pads, utility dollies, or furniture dollies. Since the location closed at 4:00 p.m., there was no way to get them. The advice I was given from your customer service representative via the live chat on Tuesday night was that I was out of luck because I had not picked up the U-Haul during business hours. After explaining I was working out of town and that was the earliest I could get there to pick it up (and multiple times explaining the location was closed), I was informed I could drive to another U-Haul location that may be open longer to satisfy my needs. Awful customer service in my opinion. So, I moved everything without any sort of moving equipment. Poor reflection of U-Haul. Then, when I turned it in, I also called U-Haul last night and sat on hold for 18 minutes before someone answered. I had to explain that when I logged into my online site to check in the truck, I granted access to check my location and then got a response that stated “Thank you for choosing U-Haul. A representative will be with you within 24 hours to confirm your bill.” I never had a chance to show the odometer, the fuel capacity, etc. When I explained this, I was told that it was a malfunction on my phone. Also awful customer service in my opinion.

Although the website said the site was open until 4pm, there was no one there when I arrived shortly before 1pm (supposedly opened at noon). In fact, I attempted to get some boxes there on another occasion when they were supposed to be open, and again, there was no one there. Very crowded drop off lot - not much room to leave a truck.

If a customer is to use the online check in and check out make sure the online system has no flaws. I waited 20 minutes for them to verify my lisence, which never happened. Luckily, my location's owner showed up and gave me the key for the uhaul.I

First, I NEVER write reviews. Second, I am a mom of two who is in the middle of unpacking after a move. So for me to take the time to write this is worth noting. Kyle at Dakota Mini Storage was FANTASTIC. He was quick to respond any time we had questions and he would offer solutions as well. We had to change our order a few times and he was patient and helpful. Kyle made a very stressful move SO MUCH EASIER. I cannot say enough about the quality of service.

I had left messages before to this U-Haul location and never received a call back. It would be nice to have a cell phone number listed somewhere to call. Besides myself, there was 2 other customers waiting for someone to show up at this location.

The first location was fine and routine, the drop off guy didn't return my truck the day I brought it back and then ignored us for an hour (calls and waiting outside) two hours after it opened. He came out and I had to yell to him "sir I have a question!" And he told me that he just got there even though he's truck was there the whole time
