The representative used profanity over the phone to another coworker . The truck was dirty and smelled like urine. I was given the keys and found a mattress inside that was very smelly

There was broken glass all over the cab when my husband got into the truck, and my husband was cut. Upon returning, the attendant was too busy with things to check us out right then, so he just took the keys and said we could go then later charged us for two days rental without telling us because we were slightly late with our return, even though I spoke to him in advance to let him know.

The man who checked me out told me I could return the vehicle to any other location when that was not true. After I told him that the regional manager had informed me of that over the phone, he said that it must be the policy of some individual renting out trucks and not the company as a whole.

There is little of anything indicating the gas station is a U-Haul dealer. The attendant spoke very broken English and was hard to understand, and was not able or willing to give a receipt to complete the transaction

I had a lot of difficulty getting my truck - the pick up site attendant was clueless and had a loose grasp of the English language. I kept getting hung up and when I finally was able to ask a question, I was told there was no truck available. I then called the corporate office and was told that the "u-haul" person was not there and they gave keys without asking for proof of ID. She then continued her personal conversation on her cell phone. I asked when was the return process and she said she had no idea. I got the truck and had no dolly which I had paid for.... absolutely ridiculous. The best part of all of this was the person I had spoken to the day before pick up told me to pick up my truck in a different location and that location told me to rebook my reservation because they had no record of my pickup location.... the entire day was frustrating and extreamly irritating. I do not understand how so many incompetent people can be hired by a single company.

The attendant was not able to process my payment with 2 different credit cards. We had to call customer service and local dispatch to process the request. It took more than an hour to pick up the truck. The attendant also had to attend to other customers as it is also a Gas Station and store to sell lottery tickets. It was really unacceptable.

It's not the location's fault. I blame the website. The Uhaul site allowed me to book an appliance hand truck even tho this particular location had none to supply. That error alone really made for a very long and painful day
