I was overcharged. Not happy at all.
They wrote the incorrect drop off time on my receipt charging me 2 rental periods instead of 1 as per my reservation. The case was resolved by uhaul customer service, but they should provide some form of proof or receipt that correctly reflects drop off time upon drop off of the vehicle.
I payed for two dollys and a blanket and I didn't receive them upon moving also my time was delayed by 1.5 hrs trying to pick up vehicle.
I returned the U-Haul via self checkout around 2 am and the worker at the lot did not understand the concept of self checkout so he held me up for almost 30 minutes past 2 am. I was tired from moving all day and just wanted to go home. Furthermore, the truck itself had many check lights on from tire to passenger doors indicating they were open when they were closed and locked. The worker on site earlier in the day insisted this was not an issue and had me leave with that same vehicle. I was cautious and also uncomfortable feeling that U-Haul would try and blame any issues on me or that I would end up on the side of the road with mechanical issues. Despite this, the worker insisted it was okay, so I took photos of everything before departing. Overall this was a stressful, tiring, and horrible experience. I know not all U-Haul locations are like this, but I was very unhappy with this location. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading my honest review.
Very friendly guy working out there. Checked me in even my appointment was expired.
Employee was late coming to work. Proceeded to blame me the customer for renting the truck too early. Was too friendly at all considering i had to wait for 1hour for employee to show up at work to get me the truck.
Because I wasn't aware I had to pay a charge for bringing the truck back their oppose to a uhaul location even though thats where I picked it up from.
I originally booked a van from a different location and didn't get a notification that it wasn't reserved even though I got a confirmation saying it was. I then had to go all the way to the Bronx to pick up the van. Y'all need to have a better system keeping track of the trucks available and when a reservation is made.
Keep clean the trucks update the information about the truck and someone from u haul stuff need to be there, not the parking person to give you the keys and u haul person speak with you through the phone. Overall this place need lot of improvement.
I need to follow up on customer service about my reservation. I reserved a 10' truck for a move and I went to pick it up, it wasn't available. I had to settle for a van. Luckily, I was able to squeeze everything. I wasn't even offered a discount for the inconvenience.
Great customer service, easy process and great equipment
The gentlemen in charge was not present at the time of picking up the vehicle. There was 2 other gentlemen ahead of me. The parking lot attendant had to call him aNd he proceeded to instruct the attendant on how to go about it. He even said if I'm not happy with the service I can go wherever else I'd like.
Don't change the location of a reservation the night before. That's all
It was nice that I could drop off the truck after hours, but the site was dirty, cramped, and no one spoke English on site which made it difficult to explain that I was trying to return the truck. I was actually charged for parking overnight after returning the truck to the right location! All in all, not a great experience.
I hated this location average because of the level of communication. I called the day before to confirm my reservation for a 10' truck (at 8am). I was told to be there by 8 and the worker dedicated to releasing the trucks was not present. I waited 45-60 mins to be serviced. The person I was waiting for never arrived and another worker from the parking garage helped me. The location is convenient but moving forward I would go to a local UHaul storage unit location that rents their trucks, not a third party location.
I ordered a dolly and furniture pads that I never received because they were all rented out. I asked the customer service rep at the location for a refund and he told me to contact haul. I e-mailed and have yet to receive a response or my money back.
Pick a different location. They will try to charge you more than actual price. Very unprofessional.
The U Haul location did not have hand sanitizer to clean our hands or disinfectant wipes to clean the steeling wheel of the truck.
A bit disorganized, bu they had what I had reserved. The 10' UHAUL rode a bit rough.....shock absorbers need attention.

I ordered a hand truck and fabric blankets, they weren't provided. Other than that, the experience was good. Quick and efficient. Truck was clean and without damage.
The worse customer service experience I've ever delt with! Had a scheduled reserved appointment at 930am in which I paid for and scheduled days prior to arrival they couldn't find me assigned to the location but when they called main head quarters it showed I was assigned I didnt leave out that place til 1130am from my 9:30am appointment!
